Michele_one_L Posted Apr 26, 2008, 1:52 am	Hello! My name is Horton. I was recently "rescued" from Target. I saw my new owner and her husband walking down the isle at Target. I was screaming out in hopes that they would see me. They looked like nice people and I wanted them to take me home with them. Sadly they didn't hear me, so as a last resort I threw myself off the shelf and onto the floor. That got their attention! My owner picked me up and said that I was cute, after showing her husband they decided to take me home with them. Yes, my plan worked! Now that I have been rescued I would like to see the world! Michele_one_L Posted Apr 26, 2008, 8:57 pm	Today we said goodbye to Winnie the Pooh. His trip in New York was over and he's heading to Colorado. We wished him well and told him to have a good trip. Maybe we will meet again someday! Good Luck Winnie the Pooh!
Michele_one_L Posted Apr 27, 2008, 4:46 pm	A new TV arrived today! We couldn't wait to found out who it was. Our host opened the envelope and Fuzz Bear was inside. We all shouted "hello Fuzz Bear!" Luckily it didn't seem to frighten him. We told him that he arrived on the right day because we had special plans tonight.
Michele_one_L Posted Apr 28, 2008, 9:40 pm	Michele and her husband told us that since we have been so well behaved lately they were taking us somewhere special. We have no idea where we could be going, but we are SO excited!
Michele_one_L Posted Apr 28, 2008, 9:59 pm	We all got in the car still not knowing where we were going. Finally we arrived and all we could see was a fence and a couple of parked cars. Michele and Daryl told us that the place didn't seem to be opened yet and that we had to wait. We were all getting hungry while waiting. Luckily Michele and Daryl packed dinner and snacks for everyone.
Michele_one_L Posted Apr 28, 2008, 10:55 pm	Finally after almost an hour of waiting the line started to move. Michele got to the booth and there was a lady in there. The lady told Michele, "That will be $14 and it's on the second screen." A screen? Finally Michele told us that we were at the Drive In! We were going to see "Horton Hears a Who!" We started cheering and shouting, we were so excited! We were waiting for the movie to begin and it started to rain! Michele said we weren't leaving just because it was raining. Hopefully it was going to be short. Sadly the rain didn't stop, it continued through the whole movie.  We made the best of the situation and enjoyed the movie. We loved "Horton Hears a Who!"
Michele_one_L Posted Apr 28, 2008, 11:23 pm	Honey Bear and Piggy wanted to take a bath today so we decided to watch. Michele told us not to get too close or we might fall in.
Michele_one_L Posted Apr 29, 2008, 12:42 am	We were waiting for them when their bath was over. Honey Bear came out and he looked so happy to be clean. Piggy didn't seem as happy as Honey Bear. Honey Bear couldn't wait for the dryer. He says this is his favorite part because it makes his belly fluffy.
Michele_one_L Posted Apr 29, 2008, 2:06 am	Today I said goodbye to all of the friends I made here. I'm starting my journey and I'm really excited but nerves too. Everyone gave me some words of encouragement and told me I'll be fine. I wasn't the only one leaving today, Nicki Bear, Tuffy and Little Billy left today as well. Sadly none of us are traveling together. Good Luck Everyone! Have a safe trip!

magickzzl guardianicewolf@hotmail.com Posted May 10, 2008, 7:06 am	Izzy has been holding us hostage for 5 days!! Just kidding! Izzy's kitty Mr. Pickles got sick on her keyboard, and so she had to wait to get a new one.. But Mr. Pickles is feeling much better now! Today was Izzy's last day of school, so we went with her to help her with finals. That bum is mostly taking art classes! But we helped her study for English, we read the poem "the Fish" by Elizabeth Bishop. After her final Izzy took us to the science building which also houses a natural history museum! We found a stuffed deer with.. fangs! I was afraid but Scott the lobster protected me. Its called a Mutjak and they come from India! Their one of the oldest species of deer around! They look like vampires to me! After we left the museum we headed to the art building to help out with a final critique, where the students have to talk about their work in front of the whooooooole class. Izzy did hers on tuesday, so she just laughed. When everything was done we found the printing press, which they use to sqeeeeeeze ink and paper together! We tried to squeeze Scott, but he was just to strong!

Theres Scott the lobster, Filia the bear and Sussy Greenfeet the piggy! Izzy has some of her voyagers around to that she still needs to send off. (bad izzy) Izzy introduced me to her ponies, she collects My Little Ponies, and Sussy and Filia REALLY wanted to go riding. I watched, I'd rather talk to the ponies then ride them
magickzzl guardianicewolf@hotmail.com Posted May 17, 2008, 8:34 pm	Izzy took us with her to Auburn!! It was so much fun. We ate mexican salad that one of the nice 4H groups made (4H is an agriculture based club for young kids) and looked around gorgiose old town Auburn. We went to a little museum and learned about some of California's gold mining history. Lots of people came here in the 1840's and 50's to look for gold, and they used lots of ways to get it, including pans which they dunked in streams with some dirt in them and swished it around, all the way to big water cannons to tear into the sides of mountains. Auburn's hills are full of scars from the big water cannons. it was so neat! We also saw an old bus, only $10,000. ha ha.
magickzzl guardianicewolf@hotmail.com Posted May 28, 2008, 5:57 am	I got to go to PowWow Days, which is a small carnival in Orangevale, and a family tradition! We got to see a live show and rides and lots of neat crafts!
magickzzl guardianicewolf@hotmail.com Posted Jun 4, 2008, 4:53 am	I got to go with Izzy and the other voyagers to the Sacramento County Fair! Its help in this huge fair grounds they use for the STATE fair! We ate lots of junk food and pet some livestock. We also got to meet the mascot for the state fair, the california golden bear!
magickzzl guardianicewolf@hotmail.com Posted Jun 4, 2008, 5:11 am	This weekend Izzy took us to her family reunion up on the Russian River. It was so beautiful. We saw a peregrine falcon catch a fish not more then 20 feet away, baby foxes (called kits) and a great blue heron! California has so much wildlife.
missslady Posted Jun 15, 2008, 2:41 pm	Horton has made it safely to the east coast (Springfield, VA). And lucky for him, we're off to the BEACH!!!!! Pawleys Island, SC!!!
missslady Posted Jun 15, 2008, 3:00 pm	After 7 hours of driving, we finally made it to Pawleys Island, SC. It’s a beautiful day! Horton mets Harvie Horton and Harvie checking out the deck view. Horton and Harvie resting on the rocking chair. Horton and Harvie making sure there is enough drinks in the cool for the beach. I think they want a ride too. WOW – Beach!!!! Muffins and homemade pancakes for breakfast. Horton and Harvie meets Ms Anne. I think they like her!
