But we were sad when we had to say bye to our friends : Malcom , Supergrover (they go to Scotland) and Tony (who is going to the netherlands). I haven't seen the market : Fleur has a bad cold. I watched a final cup of soccer, interesting, even if Fleur's favorite team (Lens) has lost. On sunday, we had a good tea and an apple pastry "chausson aux pommes". This monday, we welcomed a new tv from Finland : Muuimipeikko. She travelled to the USA and gave us some chocolate. Bisous |

Hello!
This week a new TV arrived!! It was Rex who poped out of the envelope! After a short talk with him, we decided to discover Poeldijk. We found 3 statues These are 2 children, playing. It was put over there when an old school had to come down, because they where going to build houses over there. This is pastor Verbuch, the oldest pastor of Poeldijk, there is also a school and a street named after him. And this one, a statue of a mother and a baby, build when the most important street of Poeldijk was improved in 1991. When Lejow didn't look we sneaked into the playgrouund (I hope you can see us, sitting on this big slide!!) Hug Pimboli and Lejow |

Hello again!
What a sunny weekend we have! We stayed at Lejow's boyfriend and went in to the city of Rotterdam for some sightseeing and shopping. We saw the cube houses! Here is some info: Kubuswoningen, or cube houses, are a set of innovative houses built in Rotterdam and Helmond in The Netherlands, designed by architect Piet Blom in 1984. The houses in Rotterdam are located on Overblaak Street, and beside the Blaak Subway Station. Blom tilted the cube of a conventional house 45 degrees, and rested it upon a hexagon-shaped pylon. There are 38 small cubes and two so called 'super-cubes', all attached to each other. As residents are disturbed so often by curious passers-by, one owner decided to open a "show cube", which is furnished as a normal house, and is making a living out of offering tours to visitors. The houses contain three floors: ground floor entrance first floor with living room and open kitchen second floor with two bedrooms and bathroom top floor which is sometimes used as a small garden The walls and windows are angled at 54.7 degrees. The total area of the apartment is around 100 square meters, but around a quarter of the space is unusable because of the walls that are under the angled ceilings. Next to the cubes houses you will see another designed building by the Dutch architect Piet Blom (1934-1999). It is called the Blaaktower and has the shape of a pencil, that is why it is popular called 'The Pencil', Het Potlood Then my biggest wish came true.. I met Diddle.. And not only him, I met also Diddlina and myself!! Diddle Diddlina Meeee!! Like finding Wally.. can you find me? haha Now I am going to sleep! Hug Pimboli and Lejow |
