HELLO EVERYBODY

I'm Lilly, a new toyvoyager and I'm ready to see as much of the world as I can :)
At the moment I'm still in Berlin where I live but who knows... maybe I start to travel soon.
DO YOU WANT TO BE MY FIRST HOST?

Yippie, I found my first host :D :D  It's Yosemite from Bavaria. I'll start my journey next week. I'm so excited!! But I'm a bit afraid, too. Can I stay in an envelope without getting claustrophobia, will I arrive safely and will my host be nice to me?
My mum says I don't have to be afraid because I'm not the first tv which starts it's journey and I think she's right :)

Hey Mummy!

I savely arrived in Lichtenfels!

I had a good journey. I was welcomed by soooooooooo much TVs I´ve never seen before!

There is another girl *-Cookie-*, the penguin Waffels, the white tiger Fussel, the little dog Kibblet, the cute bear Wavy Gravy, the crazy microbe Herb the Hepp, the deer Bambi and the lion Leoshek. What a crazy gang :D

And certainly hostmum and hostdad. I think we will have a lot of fun together!

Love you, Mummy!

Hey, Mummy!

Today I made a sightseeing trip with hostmum, Leoshek and Wolley. A very international gang, Leoshek is from Czech Republic and Wolley is from Guinea! But we appreciate each other  :D

At first we looked at the map of the historic city center. We looked at the baroque city hall and the emblem of the city. Aaaaaaaaaaaa, there are 2 lights and a stone. This stands for Lichten-fels! We had a wonderful view over the market place. Then we went to the museum. But we didn´t go in, because it was such a sunny day! The saw the old city gate with 3 cannonball in it. They are bricked in the wall to remember the war of 1553. Very old!

Then we went home, because it was veryvery cold!

Love you, Mummy and send kisses to Berlin!

Hey Mummy!

Brrrrrrrrr, it is cococold outside! But we made a nice little walk! We were at the river Main which is not far away.

I climbed in a tree, can you find me? ...come a little closer  :)

Then we walked nearby the bank. Sooooooooooooo much ice on it! It looks wonderful in the sun!
At the dam we saw even more ice!

Now I am glad we are back at home. We´ll have a warm cacao  :D

Mummy, I love you!

Hey, Mummy!

Today we made a sightseeing trip to Bamberg. I learned so much about this city. It is very old and its historic city center is a world heritage!

We visited a fountain which is called "Gabelmo", because of the sculpture of neptune ontop.
Next stop was at the bank of the river Regnitz. There is a big mask, maybe art  In the background you see the church St. Michael.

In a shop I found sheeps, but only made of pottery  :)

We looked at the crazy city hall, it was built in the middle of the river and has realistic paintings on the walls.

The last "must have seen" is the gothic cathedral with four towers! So impressing!

Now we are back at home and have some warm tea  :D

Dear Mummy!

We cooked a wonderful surprise meal for our hosts!

I cutted the tomatoes. Thank god we had only small tomatoes

The tomatoes were rosted together with onions and then put together with kingprawns.

While we did this the spaghetti was boiled.

After putting together we had a yummie meal for hostmum and hostdad!

Enjoy!

Hey Mummy!

We were in a toystore today!
Yosi had not to go to work, so we had time to make fun  :D

I looked what a real lady needs. A lace fan? Or golden eye lashes? I preferred the princess crown and the pink shoes. But one size smaller, please  :D :D :D

What a funny day!

Hello, my dear Mummy!

Spring is coming!
Look at the wonderful flowers we found today on our way to the city.

In front of the cafe stood a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge ice cream, but it didn´t taste well, but we used it as a slide, perfect for TVs  :)

Inside we looked at the menu and I ordered a strawberry cup. Thank god *-Cookie-* helped me to come up  :D

It was sooooooooooooooooooo yummie!

I hope that it is summer soon!

Love you, hope you don´t miss me to much!

There is a kiss for you :*

Hey Mummy!

I am still well, but I had an accident today!

We want to help hostmum to clean the falt because we will have very famous visitors today.

I sat on the vaccum cleaner and it was funny, at first. Then I fell off  :o and was sucked in!!! Fortunately Kibblet and Wolley helped me out and I am still alive! :D

I am excited who will visit us, more tomorrow!

Hey Mummy!

Yesterday the mysterious visitor arrived. It was Dr.Kröbner with all his TVs! So much TVs and other plushies on our sofa!
I made friends with the two pink cushions Lady (the little one) and Kissen (the big one).

We had so much to discourse! It was so great for me to listen to the stories of Dr.Kröbners life! So much experiences!

I hope I can make as much as experiences as he has!

Love you Mummy!

Hello, Mummy!

What a nice day! Today was a pretty spring day and so we went to our hosts´garden to enjoy the sun!

Hostdad showed us his little sequoias, I was allowed to sit in one  :D

Then I found a tractor exactly in my size. I climbed on and started the engine. Wow, what a great feeling!

But suddenly the tractor got out of control! It run amok with me ontop!
It drove exactly in the direction of the other TVs! And stopped exactly on the blanket. waaaw, we were in luck!

Nobody gets hurt!

After that we made a rest in the sun to cool down my mind  ;)

Dear Mummy!

I enjoy my last few days in Franconia. Soon I will go on on my trip around the world.
Today we made a trip by bike. Ok, we tried to go by bike, but it didn´t work well
Fortunately hostdad has a big backpack and so we traveled comfortable uphill.  B)

In front of the famous rococo basilica Vierzehnheiligen we stopped. It was built by Balthasar Neumann in the 18th century. It is a famous church of pilgrimage, too. Look how big the front is, according to us TVs!

Behind the church is another grand building, the brewery Trunk. I tasted original franconian dark beer. Waffels was a gentleman and helped me up  ;) Believe it or believe it not, it tasted sooooooooooooooo yummie,  ;)

Hey Mummy!!! =)

Yesterday I arrived in Bochum!
But Tiffy had no time yesterday and so I just slipped out of my envelope today!
But it was okay, because I got a very warm and friendly welcome by Bubo and Tiffy! =) So everything's fine here.
I also got a welcome sign, which was made by Bubo. I think, that that was very kind of him, right? =)

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-44rxDnt21xw/T3ShXKWwulI/AAAAAAAAA9c/a65yaqhDp7s/s640/2012-03-29%252018.29.20.jpg

After this welcome I discovered a bit of Tiffys home... and found some really interesting things!

A London Bus, for example... for now it's just a very small version of such a bus, but Tiffy is also working on very big model of such a bus and I'm sure that I'll be allowed to help her with it... and of course, in about 13 days I finally get to see a real London Bus! =) I can't wait, and thanks for arranging that trip for me, Mummy! I'm so excited about it!
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Oic9ddRadvY/T3Shfkx9egI/AAAAAAAAA98/nR0uVYYKuyY/s640/2012-03-29%252018.31.59.jpg

So and you must now, that Tiffy as a huge fan of England and also of Formula 1... so it is kinda clear, that she is a fan of a british Formula 1 driver... Jenson Button.
This is his book about the year, where he won his first championsship in 2009 and a model of his Formula 1 car, it's a McLaren Mercedes (also a british team xD)
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-7gjDYHYepKk/T3ShhW66P4I/AAAAAAAAA-E/xJqBiTTzkQQ/s512/2012-03-29%252018.51.57.jpg

Just hanging around a bit in a plant... with some really strange guys...  :stare: :D
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-vOFYZIMvrss/T3ShmTto-hI/AAAAAAAAA-M/qAuv6Q_mA1A/s640/2012-03-29%252018.53.30.jpg

And I found a "The Hunger Games" poster in Tiffys room... she told me that it is one of the best books, she has ever red and it is also a movie now... (it's out since last week) and she said, that it's really good. So maybe you go and watch the movie or read these books!
What a pitty, that Tiffy already saw the movie last week... I would have loved to go to the cinema and see it! damn it! -.- :D
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-4-llqJABwGE/T3ShnGqryII/AAAAAAAAA-Q/j6rayjcbBiM/s512/2012-03-29%252018.54.46.jpg

And after my small exploring tour, I sat down with Bubo, a cold orange drink and some chocolate, which I brought with me from my last host, and we talked about toyvoyaging and travelling.
And Bubo is an experienced TV so it was really fascinating to listen to all his travelstories! He is a really cool TV and I'm sure, that we will have a great time together.

So that was my day, so far. =)
Hope you had a wonderful day, love you Mummy! =)
And thanks again, for sending me to Tiffy!

Bye Bye

Hey Mummy!! =)

So today... I had to say goodbye to Bubo, he stayed with Tiffy now for nearly half a year and it was time for him now, to go on with his travel adventures...

I'm glad that I was able to meet him, even if it was such a short time. But I enjoyed this short time.
And that's the reason why I gave him a big hug and cuddle as farewell.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ISohWSHl7kI/T3s_bthJ0iI/AAAAAAAAA_A/kuuW0jqrkPA/s512/2012-04-03%252018.12.17.jpg

And wished him all the best for his journey... hope he'll get enough air and that envelope...

Happy Easter, Mummy!!!

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-9SP6VgS124A/T4Mf8KYJ2CI/AAAAAAAAA_M/SlCuk0QkhYs/s512/2012-04-08%252013.40.52.jpg

And this is what Tiffy got, a chocolate bunny with some money and a huge easter egg... and in it was a london phonebox, which you can use as a money box. It's really cool! =)

Hey Mummy, it's me again!

Today was the second day of the easter holidays, and Tiffys great-grandmother came for a visit. So we had to bake something, which we could serve on the coffee table this afternoon.
Tiffy and me decided to bake some mandarines cupcakes... yummy yummy!

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-wO15KK-G4B4/T4MgCQzVdbI/AAAAAAAAA_k/ADwqUjKDOJQ/s512/2012-04-09%252010.41.40.jpg

At first we had to add the baking mixture, an egg and some oil in one bowl...
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-xY1PLIpuSy0/T4MgIz4Y6wI/AAAAAAAAA_0/CDWZhQ-xkYU/s640/2012-04-09%252010.45.15.jpg

Afterwards I mixed the ingredients, with the mixer, which was kinda fun!
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-HyrLi28cb9A/T4MgMNL4SWI/AAAAAAAAA_8/3uaeA8QK9VQ/s512/2012-04-09%252010.47.31.jpg

The next step was to cut some mandarine slices to add them to the dough...
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-ogbhqCiNMP0/T4MgKPTpOgI/AAAAAAAABAI/GwU8vZFCx0Q/s640/2012-04-09%252010.50.55.jpg

And then I had to mix again! Because the slices needed to be in that dough...
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-RwkaotJP6W4/T4MgNry8DvI/AAAAAAAABAE/uf5YT-z3Tqw/s512/2012-04-09%252010.53.05.jpg

Atfer the dough was ready, we had to fill the dough into the muffin baking forms, but I thought it was kinda funny, to add myself to these forms.
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-LKx0l7MVTL8/T4MgShDiVdI/AAAAAAAABBQ/cLTwHnDcySY/s640/2012-04-09%252010.59.09.jpg

But atfer this sort of fun, I got back serious and focused on my work, and started to fill the dough into the forms...
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-fkBgTu_KIC4/T4MgUc6LxkI/AAAAAAAABAg/witeohyrXWw/s512/2012-04-09%252011.01.48.jpg

The forms were ready, and now they had to bake in the oven.
Atfer nearly 20 minutes, they were looking like that, pretty cool, huh?
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-V0d5Jk5h5G4/T4MgZ6kJuQI/AAAAAAAABAs/bzXbQvN67bA/s512/2012-04-09%252011.18.56.jpg

After the muffins were ready, we had to wait a half an hours, because the needed to cool down, so that we were able to add the icing on the cupcakes.
Meanwhile, Tiffy whiped the cream...
as the cupcakes were cooled down and the cream was ready, we added the icing to a piping bag, so that we could top the cupcakes with the icing.
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-haAxfR1bNLo/T4MgbqiowSI/AAAAAAAABA8/2dcUcvUi5vg/s512/2012-04-09%252011.44.48.jpg

And that's the final look!
Really delicious, huh? And tell you what... they were totally delicious!
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-lXELIwxYi-k/T4Mgd5puCGI/AAAAAAAABBE/QB3oobULgmE/s640/2012-04-09%252011.51.16.jpg

So and now the easter holidays are over, and the London Trip is in 2 days... this gets really exciting! :D
Tiffy told me, that we're going to the city tomorrow, to buy some things for the trip, and that we have to pack the suitcase!

Talk to you tomorrow!

love you,
Lilly!

Hey Mum!

So I'm back in Bochum and I had great 3 days in London.
I'll start my Travellog Updates now... so let's begin with the 10.April,
Tiffy showed me some parts of the Bochum City because we went there to change some money for London and buy some things, we wanted to take with us.

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-pnETNnsKYso/T5AxTCrmAtI/AAAAAAAABBg/BCKvgOYhw3Y/s512/2012-04-10%252010.12.49.jpg
This is me in front of the bank, where we changed Euro into British Pounds.
The square in front of it, is called "Dr. Ruer Platz". In the christmastime is there a christmas market and during the year, there are several small events at the weekends or something.

This is still the "Dr. Ruer Platz"
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-fi9seWrT1qs/T5AxUDqopMI/AAAAAAAABBc/erMfxaXXEFE/s512/2012-04-10%252010.12.55.jpg

And this is the main shopping street of the City of Bochum.
It's called "Kortumstraße" and "Kortum" was a old traditional large store in Bochum. Somehow it was like the "KadeWe" in Berlin. But unfortunately this store doesn't exist anymore. Just the building is excisting and in it is now the electro store "Saturn".
Did you know that a TV-movie was produced in that buildig? It was called "Der große Bellheim" and was broadcasted in 1993.
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-ceC-rxvKuKI/T5AxdJBLXSI/AAAAAAAABB0/9uvu9uNq7Jw/s512/2012-04-10%252010.33.27.jpg

At the end of the shopping street there is a small Mall.. called "City Point and Drehscheibe" and actually these are 2 malls itself, but somehow the belong together but have two different names.
I'm in front of the "City Point"
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-GJY7ZSPaECg/T5AxcUsbjNI/AAAAAAAABBs/okygTdwLumk/s512/2012-04-10%252010.55.38.jpg

This is me at another square in the city... it is called "Husemannplatz" and at the christmastime there is also the christmasmarket. And you can see me in front of a fountain sculpture.
The fountain shows a scence of the "Jobsiade" which was written by Dr. Carl Arnold Kortum. He didn't found the Kortum store but they named it after him.
The building in the background is the district court of Bochum.
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-GXquJTc--zc/T5AxdVfM97I/AAAAAAAABB4/eZDPE5G1CuA/s512/2012-04-10%252010.58.30.jpg

And as we came home from the city, we found an envelope in the mailbox.
So Tiffy allowed me to open it.
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-ZiF-LP2OKSA/T5Axk3ppGAI/AAAAAAAABCM/toQIqeV0FmY/s640/2012-04-10%252012.17.12.jpg

... out of it came Sterni
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-XbyGh6RlG8w/T5Axjwo-CkI/AAAAAAAABCE/ArCYKJwLHtc/s640/2012-04-10%252012.17.46.jpg

So and in the afternoon, we had to pack the suitcase and get ready for our London trip the other day!
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-jmZOrAE0iX0/T5AxpZ_-OfI/AAAAAAAABMU/uq2pbUC4x_M/s640/2012-04-10%252014.51.26.jpg

Greetings

Hey Mum!

So the day of my trip to London finally arrived at 11th April.
But it was a really toy unfriendly time, i had to get up.
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-eqRH4HnR1Jk/T5AxtVSr4xI/AAAAAAAABCo/_kaFoZoIbro/s512/2012-04-11%252002.50.02.jpg
2:50 in the morning was really early. But I was lucky, I got some sleep before... but Tiffy not. She told me, that she was so excited about that trip, that she didn't sleep. So the result of it was that she was 39 hours awake.. and walked with a lack of sleep through London that day. But she was fine. =)

So and then everything was packed and ready and we headed to the airport at 4:00am.
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-DPffibQyDRo/T5AxuQpOAVI/AAAAAAAABCw/s2EWDvBkf8o/s512/2012-04-11%252003.34.43.jpg

This is me in the departing area of the Cologne/Bonn Airport... unfortunatley it was kinda dark there and I intercepted the flash.. sorry for this! =/
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-wePCkLCO6io/T5AxySdIL3I/AAAAAAAABC8/AK39_YFIYbE/s512/2012-04-11%252005.54.07.jpg

After a very short flight (it was only 1 hour) we arrived in London.
We went to the hotel, to leave the luggage there (because the room wasn't ready as we arrived) and the first thing we did we went to see the London Eye, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey.

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-81X_LdMHpYI/T5Ax_sLrKpI/AAAAAAAABDc/ep37mAj3Kdo/s512/2012-04-11%252010.39.45.jpg

Atferwards we visted the Queen.... well not really. We visited the Buckingham Palace. But the Queen was at home, you can see that, because the flag was hoisted up!
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-IAWNtFfi1yk/T5AyUVfwJOI/AAAAAAAABEc/h6Dv8p58nNA/s512/2012-04-11%252012.21.04.jpg

and this fountain is in front of the Buckingham Palace.

Me in front of the Buckingham Palace... can you remember the last years royal wedding? This place was full with people back then, and there you can see the balcony were William and Kate kissed! And now I'm standing in front of it... unfortunately there were no royals in sight but it was really impressive, though.

And this is the square in front of the Palace... and ther you can see one of those famous guards, who protect the Queen and wear those bearskin on their head.

And this is me at the King's Cross Station... the architecture is really impressive, isn't it? =)

the other pics will follow! Love you,

Hey Mum! =)

So here is my second London Update about my 2nd day in beautiful London! =)

Our Hotel, the Guoman Tower Hotel, was very close to the Tower Bridge... so as we started with our day, we took a photo in front of it.
In the Morning, the wheater wasn't that nice as you can see, and it was a bit misty... but fortunatley in the afternoon the sun came out =)

So and we started our second day, at the Buckingham Palace, again ;o).. no we didn't had breakfast with the Queen. But we went there to watch the guards changing at 11:30 am
The whole place in front of the Palace was totally crowed, and I asked myself if the Queen will show up or what was the reason for it. But all these people we're just there, to see the guards. Really strange, huh? =)

In the evening we went to the Picadilly Circus to watch a Westend Musical Show... =) We watched Ghost the Musical, which is based on the movie "Ghost - Message from Sam" and was quite a very popular movie back in the 90's with Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore. And still is a classic. I'm sure you know the movie and the story of it. And this fantastic piece is now on stage with music! And it's really awesome and totally heartbreaking. Some scence are also very funny and you have to laugh but some others, just make you cry.
And this is me in front of the Picadilly Theatre, were Ghost is played.

Hey Mum!!!

So this is my last London Update...
on our last day in London we spent the day at the Tower of London, before we headed back to the Airport and back to Germany.
I'm sure that you know the Tower of London it is a medieval palace, which is very near to the Thamse.
In the history many Kings used this as a residence, or others spent some time there before their coronation, like Anne Boleyn, on of the six wives of King Henry VIII .. or, as you also may know.. some criminals got arrested or even executed there...

Nowadays, the Tower is just mainly used as a museum, and many tourists go there to see the crownjewels and other exhibitons about these times.

So we visit the Tower... and it was really impressive to see this historic building and to see how the people lived at these times.
This is me in the medieval palace, and this is how a bedroom looked liked back in the 12th century or something like that..
(and sorry for catching the flash again.. but it was kinda dark in this room)
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-JXGxxcqYfdQ/T5A0tecy71I/AAAAAAAABJ8/3fcKD0asBnQ/s640/PICT0129.JPG

And this is me in front of a medieval throne.
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-iB0g13y-rQg/T5A03V2uyyI/AAAAAAAABKM/ArH_OZi7qz8/s640/PICT0132.JPG

On the outside, there are the walls... and these sculptures are there, to remind, that the walls of the tower were used to defend the palace...
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-TPezS0NpcIQ/T5A06_6LSRI/AAAAAAAABKU/dDwyKb-jriM/s512/PICT0142.JPG

And of course... there are also the guards with the bear skin in the Tower... and I had to take a photo again, because this guy was so close!
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ybtKbaFdRKo/T5A1HcptEUI/AAAAAAAABKk/NlssoypjfOA/s512/PICT0146.JPG

Unfortunaltey you weren't allowed to take a photo of the massive, glittering, sparkling crown jewels... =(

So... at the beginning of my update I talked about criminals who were executed in the tower... Queen Anne Boleyn got executed on the tower green, also Jane Seymour, Lady Jane Grey and many more...
this is a memorial on the Tower Green for them... and the pillow is a symbol of the pillow were they had to lay their heads on, because most of them got beheaded.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-s6S0R_pRL1c/T5A1LpW4tXI/AAAAAAAABKw/9VkLmqaWdLo/s640/PICT0155.JPG

You can also meet people in the Tower who are dressed like in these old days...
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-VL5vYcwfRP4/T5A1jL9HUvI/AAAAAAAABLU/SBnrWW6bRlw/s640/PICT0165.JPG

In the Tower of London there is also an exhibiton of the royal armoury. And this is really impressive! I can't even imagine, that the people back in these days, wore such heavy armours and fought with it!
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-V8BUAUm5jtk/T5A1kk3h9bI/AAAAAAAABLY/AiuAyVlkfjk/s640/PICT0170.JPG

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-VZddn0T_fIo/T5A14Sbx1dI/AAAAAAAABMA/3CV1QVQJ6s8/s640/PICT0177.JPG

And this guy was quite scary... and massive! A huge dragon... and when I got it right, it was something like a saga, that the dragon protected something in the Tower... but I'm not quite sure about that...
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-bhbHU7Da9CE/T5A13nGB66I/AAAAAAAABL0/eGYZGQcZABQ/s640/PICT0184.JPG

So this was my last update of London...
I really enjoyed my trip to this wonderful city! =) Thanks for letting me take part on this trip...
and now I'm looking forward for some Bochum adventures...

Love you and wish you a wonderful and hopefully warm and sunny weekend!
Yours,
Lilly =)

Hey Mum!

Ahhh what a busy week for Tiffy... she is spending the whole day at work and in the evenings she has to learn for some exams in the school... uff! I wouldn't want to be in her shows now.
But Tiffy promised, that we will go to the City on Thursday afternoon, so then I will finally see a bit more of Bochum! =) *whoop whoop*

And in the time, while Tiffy was at work today... NiliHH, Sterni and me spent a cuddly afternoon in front of the TV and in Tiffys Bed.. so we we're just chilling! =)

But first of all... we had to decide which programme we wanted to watch... and I'll tell ya, this wasn't easy! Cause I wanted to watch something like a dailysoap, Sterni wanted to watch some celebrity-magazine... and NiliHH wanted to watch a documentation about Hippos. So we discussed a bit.. but afterwards we decided to do some zapping so that everyone had the chance to watch, what he or she wanted.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-zNQoh3iTfjs/T6lg9faADKI/AAAAAAAABPs/yLa5UcVMwrI/s640/2012-05-08%252019.56.15.jpg

And of course, there was some fighting for the remote control... because everyone wanted to have the unlimited force of the TV!
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-kpWE-wm5xpc/T6lg8AKGHJI/AAAAAAAABPk/UR_CuUcw19E/s640/2012-05-08%252019.55.14.jpg

But after all this discussing and fighting... we sat entirley and full of harmony in front of the telly and watched some funny programs.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-hog5cVDl4L8/T6lg6xYW2GI/AAAAAAAABPY/HbcGUVWvRkg/s512/2012-05-08%252019.54.41.jpg

So and now we say good night, Mum! =)
Hope you had a great day... write to you soon, love you! =)

Hey Mum!

So Today I left the west of Germany and Bochum. And that's why I had to say goodbye to NiliHH and Sterni, unfortunately.
I really liked them, even though we had a little argument about the TV programe, but that's fine, now. Hehehehe.
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-cTEI_ntH6l4/T66dtGZ7aoI/AAAAAAAABQg/pLClMZ65d04/s640/2012-05-10%252014.14.41.jpg

Slipping into the envelope... I hope that this will be a short journey. That is the one part, I really don't like about my travels. But it's worth it.. so I have to accept it :D
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-kCIhxQx3E24/T66dtbW9NMI/AAAAAAAABQc/3c92gq4EgrM/s640/2012-05-10%252014.14.49.jpg

And on my way to the post office, Tiffy showed me the townhall of Bochum.. with a huge bell on the place in front of it.
This Bell was made in one piece... and is extremly huge!
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-jTfetRrVx8I/T66dyvy_loI/AAAAAAAABQ8/Zmgvnh2yoco/s640/2012-05-10%252016.04.33.jpg

Finally... me in front of the post office.. it's getting serious and I'm starting my journey now to Austria! So goodbye Germany, for now.

Gonna write to you as soon as I arrive in Austria!
Have a great time, Mum! Love you!

Hi mommy,

today we were out for a little walk and we've visited the delf of the consentration camp of the second worldwar in Mauthausen.

We've seen the parachutist wall, where the soldiers of the SS hit down the prisoners of the consentration camp. Some of the prisoners  jump down by their own choice, 'cause they couldn't stand the suffer anymore.

http://i48.tinypic.com/2vua23q.jpg

Vreni also showed us the stairway to the consentration camp, where the prisoners had to transport up stones with a weight up to 50 kg.
It was a torment to the prisoners and an amusement for the SS soldiers when one of the prisoners broke down and died. The stairway was really long, on the pictures you can only see a part of it.

http://i46.tinypic.com/6tl7vt.jpg

I'm so glad that I was not living in this time.

On the way back from the delf we found some strawberries, they were really small. This one grow next to the forest called "wood strawberries".

Together we ate them, the tasted sooooooooo good.

Hi mommy,

today we met Pip & Pop, the TVs of our hostmum. Pip & Pop are always staying at home, they are now the "hosts" at Vrenis home.

While we got to know each other, Vrenis baby cat attacked us...

http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/tt288/VerenaF/ToyVoyagers/DSC02765.jpg

After that action Pip & Pop showed us their favourite game on the SEGA Megadrive 2: Sonic and The Lion King. Cosyfuzz tried to play...

http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/tt288/VerenaF/ToyVoyagers/DSC02773.jpg

The games were really cool, haven't seen such games until now.

So mum and now I'll tell you something: Vreni is a freak... Yeah shes a real Final Fantasy freak...
Pip & Pop showed us hostmums "holy shrine" of Final Fantasy.

http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/tt288/VerenaF/ToyVoyagers/DSC02782.jpg

http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/tt288/VerenaF/ToyVoyagers/DSC02787.jpg

Can you see these cool swords? Cosyfuzz and I wanted to play with them and we wondered Vreni allowed us to play with the swords...
But mum the sword were so heavy, we couldn't lift them...

http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/tt288/VerenaF/ToyVoyagers/DSC02789.jpg

So much action on that day mum... I need to rest now :)
Have a good day :)

Hi mum,

today we started our tour and we visited the “Ringstraße” (a big circular road with famous buildings).
We named our group TVTV (Toy Voyagers Tour through Vienna). We drove with the subway to the town hall (Rathaus).

http://img818.imageshack.us/img818/7682/tleringstrae01.jpg

http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/2218/tleringstrae02.jpg

http://img715.imageshack.us/img715/6485/tleringstrae03.jpg

Trixi told us that the “Rathaus” was designed by Friedrich von Schmidt in the Gothic style.
Facing the “Rathaus” is the “Rathauspark” with a huge place. Through the whole year the place is used for celebrations and events.

http://img440.imageshack.us/img440/8435/tleringstrae04.jpg

Afterwards we had a little break at the drinking fountain.
Trixi said that water from Vienna comes from two mountain spring water pipelines and it has a very good water quality.

http://img834.imageshack.us/img834/6837/tleringstrae07.jpg

Then we saw the Austrian Parliament Building, which was build from 1874-1883.
The architect responsible for the building in a Greek revival style was Theophil Edvard Hansen.

http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/2952/tleringstrae10.jpg

http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/5395/tleringstrae11.jpg

Trixi liked the statue of Pallas Athena.

http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/9014/tleringstrae12.jpg

During our walk over the “Ringstraße” we visited Museum of Natural History of Vienna and Museum of Art History.
The two buildings were opened in 1891 by Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria-Hungary.
The two Ringstraße museums were commissioned by the Emperor in order to find a suitable shelter for the Habsburgs' formidable art collection and to make it accessible to the general public.

http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/4734/tleringstrae13.jpg

http://img585.imageshack.us/img585/1958/tleringstrae14.jpg

http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/3696/tleringstrae15.jpg

After them we went to the “Hofburg Palace”. It is a palace that has housed some of the most powerful people in European and Austrian history.
It currently serves as the official residence of the President of Austria.

http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/6445/tleringstrae16.jpg

Next we visited the “Burggarten” behind the “Hofburg Palace”. We saw the famous “Mozart Monument”.

http://img502.imageshack.us/img502/7314/tleringstrae17.jpg

Last but not least we made a break at the hotel “Sacher” and eat “Sacher Torte” (chocolate cake).
It is one of the most famous Viennese culinary specialties.

It consists two Baroque palaces the Upper and Lower Belvedere, the Orangery, and the Palace Stables.
The buildings are set in a Baroque park landscape. The Baroque palace complex was built as a summer residence for Prince Eugene of Savoy.

http://img211.imageshack.us/img211/7143/tlebelvedere010.jpg

Afterwards we went to the botanical garden near Belvedere. It contains to university of Vienna.
Trixi told us that a botanical garden is a well-tended area displaying a wide range of plants labeled with their botanical names.
We studied some cacti and learned few botanical names.

http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/716/tlebelvedere016.jpg

There were so beautiful flowers, it was lovely.

Hi mummy,

yesterday our hosts told us they needed help to look for a new desk for them. Naturally we all wanted to help. So we drove to an “Ikea”.

http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/3640/tleikea10.jpg

We looked and measure some desks. After long thinking our hosts made a choice.

http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/319/tleikea01.jpg

Afterwards we had a break at the canteen.

http://img440.imageshack.us/img440/778/tleikea03.jpg

Hi mummy,
last week we visited “Schönbrunn Palace”.

http://imageshack.us/a/img41/9924/tleschnbrunn01.jpg

First Trixie showed us the garden behind the palace. The sculpted garden space between the palace and the Sun Fountain is called the Great Parterre. The French garden, a big part of the area, was planned by Jean Trehet in 1695.

http://imageshack.us/a/img41/2411/tleschnbrunn02.jpg

http://imageshack.us/a/img43/8461/tleschnbrunn10.jpg

Then we went to Roman Ruin. It was designed by the architect Johann Ferdinand Hetzendorf von Hohenberg in 1778.

http://imageshack.us/a/img51/8018/tleschnbrunn09.jpg

Afterwards we met two ducks and we had little talk. Their name is Freddy and Jo and they live in the garden since their birth. They know every edge in this beautiful garden and told us to go up to the gloriette. Up there we can make the most beautiful pictures of the palace, they promise us.

http://imageshack.us/a/img822/1095/tleschnbrunn04.jpg

So we went up the hill and saw the beautiful gloriette.

http://imageshack.us/a/img28/7425/tleschnbrunn11.jpg

Then we turned back and had a lovely sight of the palace and the town.

http://imageshack.us/a/img152/5633/tleschnbrunn12.jpg

We made a break and Trixie told us some facts about the palace and the garden. One the way home we made a stop at the famous “Neptun Fountain”.

Love you.

Then we went in the garden again and put tulips in the soil. In the spring our hostmum will have nice flowers and can make some new flower bouquets.

Muuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmyyyyyy it's me Lilly! :D
This morning I arrived at host mum's office. I was hungry when I got there so she gave me a pudding with cinnamoncookie flavour. Very yummy.  :D
While waiting for Susie's to be done with work I looked around her office. There's a lot of christmas decoration.  :)
In the evening we got to her place and I was welcomed by Druri. He is a TV from finland.

I'm excited to see what it's gonna be like to be here.

Love you

Good evening Mom,

it's just two more days till Christmas. Yeah!  :D
There is a whole lot of stuff to do.
We baked three different kinds of cookies (vanilla cookies, chocolate cookies with spices and marzipan balls with almonds).
And we prepared a dessert (cinnamon ice cream). Hmmmm....  :D

Now it's time to go to bed because there will be even more to do tomorrow.

We really had a lot (more) to do today.
In the morning we prepare the dough for a cake that had to go to the fridge for a while. Than we "packed" the cookies which host mum took to a christmas luch with friends.
When she came back in the afternoon we finished the cake, wrapped christmas presents, and also prepare the ham for tomorrow. Hmmmmm now it smells so good.  :D

On christmas eve Susie's had her mom, her grandma and her best friend over. For dinner we ate pumpkinsoup, ham with vegetables and icecream for dessert. Hmmmmm that was good. After dinner we were handing ou presents. That was a very nice evening. I enjoyed it a lot.

Sending you lots of hugs and kisses.

Yesterday we spent all day at one of hostmums friends house.
For lunch we had chestnutsoup and fresh rolls and our selfmade cinnamon icecream and for dinner we enjoyed pizza.
In between Druri and me got to play with little C. and all his new toys he got for christmas. That was fun.  :D

And I even got a chirstmas present from hostmum. It's the golden Bell you can see in last picture.  :cyclops:
I love it.

Hi mom,

today we were shopping on the farmers market in the town of Hanau.
Hanau is the town were the brothers Grimm were born (you can see the statue of them in one of the pictures).
We were quit in a hurry and didn't had too much time to take photos.

Hi Mommy,

the weather was pretty mixed up yesterday (strong wind, lots of clouds, grey sky, a bit of rain and a bit of sunshine) but hostmum decided anyway that it is time to do some walking. Cause  we haven't been outside in quite a while (besides the few minutes on the farmer market saturday). So we took the train to Frankurt/Main and just strolled around town. Somewhen we came by the area of Frankfurt fair. It's where the skyscraper with the triangle on top is.
The building with the gold colored balconys is the so called Festhalle or "Gudd Stubb". It's an event/concert hall for more than 10.000 people.

In the evening we had all you can eat sushi dinner.  :D
We ate so much that we had to roll home.  ;)

What are your plans for tonight? Are you going to a party?  :D

I wish you a "Guten Rutsch".

Happy new year Mommy!  :cyclops:
How was your new years eve? Hope you had a great time.  :cyclops:
We had a rather smoothe evening.
Yesterday morning we helped hostmum to make cheesrolls which we took to a friends house in the evening.  For dinner we had very jummy pasta, then we played some Playstation, wachted TV (Dinner for one and the Countdown live from Berlin).
At midnight we even got to have a sip of champagne.  :D
Then we went outside, wachted all the rockets in the sky and had a little firework ourself.
I really liked all the sparkels. Yeah.  :D

I wish you all the best for 2013.

Hello Mummy,

this morning I had to say goodbye to my friend Druri:(
He traveled on and is now on his way to England.
After we brought him to the post office host mum told me that it is time to go sightseeing.
We spent some time in a small park that surrounds the small castle of Wilhelmsbad in the town of Hanau. We just walked around for a while and climbed up the so called snail hill (from where we had a nice view over the park).

The castle itself was build by command of Lord Wilhelm IX./I. of Hessen-Kassel and was opened in 1779 because in the area a healing spring was found that was supposed to be used as a sanitarium. But in the year 1860 it dried up.

Today the castle Wilhelmsbad is home of a small theater, a Cafe and a Doll museum.

Have a nice weekend.  :D

Hallo Mama,

last night hostmum took me out to a cocktail bar.
On the way there we did a bit of sightseeing at night. First I got to see a building with a hole in the middle.  :) It's a shopping mall.
Then we climbed to the roof terrace of a department store from where we had a great view at the skyline.
From there we walked to the  Römer and the Eiserner Steg. Both are very famous sights of Frankfurt. Unfortunately they are not illuminated enough to take great pictures.

On the way to the bar we had to take the subway (the station even had pices of art) and walked through the redlight district.
But don't worry mum, it wasn't just us girls. We had company of a friend.  ;)
At the bar Susie's and me enjoyed a Strawberry Colada and a Mojito and her friend had a flying kangaroo and a hurricane cocktail. Yumm yumm.  ;)

Have a nice sunday mom.

this morning Susie's showed us a bit of her hometown.  :D

Hello my dear Mum,

how are you?

I'm doing pretty good.  :D Just a bit tired because Susie's made us get up pretty early this morning (too early for a sunday morning ). But therefor she took Bussi and me out to Frankfurt/Main. We enjoyed a pretty good breakfast (pancakes, fruits, cereals, eggs and much more). When we were done with breakfast we didn't feel like going home yet. So hostmum made the spontaneous decision to go and visit the airport. On the way there we made a short stop over at the so called Commerzbank Areana. Which is a soccor and event stadium (it has a capacity of 55.000 people). Today there was no event or anything going on so we couldn't get very close.
Once we reached the airport Susie's made another spontaneous decision and took us on a bustour to the airport forefield. We got sooooooo close to some of the planes. And even stopped right behind a A380 (which is the world largest passenger plane). Wow this thing is huge! Very impressive.  B)

And that was another great experience for me.  :cyclops:

Goodbye Mom

Good evening Mommy,

as every weekend we went out again.  :D
First we had lunch at an asian restaurant with a special kind of all you can eat. You can order 6 times up to 5 different dishes. You just get small plates but that is surely enough.
We ordered 3 times and were so full after that, that we had to roll out of the restaurant.  ;)
In the late afternoon we drove to the theater and wachted the movie Flight with Dancel Washington. It was so long that it was already dark by the time we got out again.

And now it's time to go to bed for little TV's.

Good night mom.

Helau Mom,

today is Fasching (also called Fasnacht or Karneval) and everyone around here shouts out "Helau".  :)
Fasching is the traditional german costum fest. People start preparing for it in november that is so long the "Faschingszeit" is even called the 5th season. The peak of it is around six weeks before easter. In lots of towns are even Faschingsparades going on. At the parades there are lots of free giveaways (usually lots of sweets). People put on there costumes, go out to the streets and sing and dance and make music and just have fun.

Since hostmum had no time to buy or make costumes for us Bussi and me got creative and decorated ourselfs with stickers and ribbions. And then went out to se the local Faschingsparade and collected tons of sweets.  :cyclops:

That was a very very fun day.  :cyclops:

Hi mum!

Yesterday I arrived in Wales! My host was on her way out to visit some relatives for an overnight stay, so I wasn't able to see my new surroundings until she got back today.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010656.jpg

Waiting to greet me was two of my host's favourite toys, Broadway and Virta. Broadway is the bear and he is my host's beloved childhood teddy. He went everywhere with her when she was a kid and he still sleeps on the edge of her bed!

The other toy is Virta. One of my host's best friends made her a plushie of the keyboardist of the band Finntroll, which is her favourite band, so it meant the world that she has her own one-of-a-kind toy of her favourite member!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010657.jpg

One of the first things I noticed about her room was the gigantic Welsh flag with loads of signatures on. My host says that she gets it signed by awesome musicians whenever she goes to a gig.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010658.jpg

She also has a really nice view out her window, she said that maybe she'll take me up to the top of the hill so I can see the whole town, which sounds exciting!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010667.jpg

One of the things I noticed about my host's room is that she has SO MANY BOOKS! There were some on the floor...

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010661.jpg

Some in a chest of drawers...

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010662.jpg

And also naturally in a massive bookcase. I couldn't manage to get the whole thing in the photo behind me! I think I will get my chance to read one of my hosts favourite books, for sure!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010663.jpg

On the bookcase was this funny pin thing, I thought I would have a play in it. I think I am going to have lots of fun here!

Hi mum!

Today I went with my host to work! She cycles to work so I got to sit on her handlebars for the journey!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010668.jpg

It was a nice ride but sooo warm, even with the wind on us! We heard on the radio at work that today has been the hottest day in the UK in seven years!

My host works in a small newsagents that also sells toys and gifts. This is me sat on the till.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010670.jpg

There was a gigantic lobster magnet on the desk next to the till that jumped on top of me, but don't worry, I'm okay! He was just playing!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010674.jpg

Look at all these postcards with sheep on! My host says that there are lots of sheep in Wales, maybe I will get to come face-to-face with one before I go home again!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/Image1.png

There was even a magnet with a sheep on.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010673.jpg

It was so warm in the shop, even with the back door open and the fan going! I sat in front of the fan for a while but it seemed to be blowing warm air out :(

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010671.jpg

But I found a great solution in the end!

Hi mum!

Today I went to Conwy!

First of all I had to accompany my host as she took her brother shopping but I found a few interesting/weird things in the store!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010676.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010678.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010680.jpg

But then we were on our way to Conwy and first of all my host got ice cream. Hers was called "Death By Chocolate"!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010685.jpg

This is me overlooking the quay.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010686.jpg

And just in case I forgot where I was, I thought I'd better get a photo!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010695.jpg

My host wanted to show me something, but on the way there we saw a medieval shop that sold weaponry such as swords and bows! This is me on the suit of armour outside.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010697.jpg

And just round the corner was a castle!! It was built near the end of the 1200s by Edward I during his conquest of Wales. It's cool to see that it's still standing over 800 years later!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010698.jpg

On the way back to the car, we passed a shop with a lot of sheep stuff in the window and outside. Considering how much sheep merchandise I've seen so far here, I'm surprised I haven't seen a real one but my host says to be patient as I will soon get the chance to see one!

Hi mum!

Sorry I have been a bit quiet recently! My host has been so busy with work and has also been a bit ill. I accompanied her to the doctors surgery today.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010701-1.jpg

The surgery is a fairly new one with a lot of people petitioning for it as the old one was so terrible! It is a little out of the way from the town centre but it is so much nicer. There is a nice stained glass window at the entrance.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010702-1.jpg

This is it from the back.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010704.jpg

There was also a huge field behind it. The grass is a bit yellow at the moment because of how much sun we've had recently, though.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010703.jpg

As my host had a little bit of time to kill before heading to work, we had a quick stop at the park to look at the swans!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010705.jpg

As my host got back on her bike to start cycling away from the lake, she wobbled and almost fell in! I tried not to laugh but it was very funny! :D

Hi mum!

I had quite an exciting day yesterday! My host took me to Crewe to a gig to see one of her favourite bands, Funeral For A Friend!

First we had to take the train from Abergele to Chester. This is me chilling out in her bag :)

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010706-1.jpg

Then we had to make a change at Chester to get to Crewe. This is me waiting on the platform!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010707.jpg

When we got to the venue, my host found a really great spot, a slightly raised area which meant she could see the band really well without having to stare over peoples heads (she's quite short) and I made myself comfortable on the ledge in front of her.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010708.jpg

The opening band was awful, but the main support Hildamay were really awesome!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010712.jpg

As you can see, I caught the flash really badly on the first attempt! But then we found a pretty good solution!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010713.jpg

Everyone went absolutely wild for Funeral For A Friend. There was a mosh pit going by the first song and it got so warm in there! This is them, my host said it was the best she'd seen them play in quite a while and she was so happy! :)

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010720.jpg

Also this isn't a photo of me but my host wanted to share this photo as well because the photos of me far away meant you can't see the band very well ;)

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/ffaf.png

I was so tired afterwards so I just chilled out on one of the train chairs for the journey back.

Hi mum!

Yesterday was my hosts first day off work in a long time! She was happy because it meant she could concentrate at working on a magazine she is a part of! She is a news reporter and reviewer at online magazine Soundscape, which she does in her spare time when she's not working. She said I could help!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010734.jpg

This is a press release that she was emailed. Basically she has to take the words from it and rewrite it into a news story for the site! I had a go at it, I think it went okay :)

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010735.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010737.jpg

As well as adding news to the site, she also reviews CDs and live concerts (she reviewed the FFAF show from last week). This is a CD she recently received in the mail, which is going to be released in September.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010736.jpg

She hasn't fully written the review yet but I gave it a listen and it sounds pretty cool!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010738.jpg

Then my host got super excited because she got an email in her inbox about some really cool TrollfesT news where fans have the chance to appear on their new record! They have to record a prewritten melody and send it to them, with them saying that the weirder the instrument, the better!

My host can play clarinet and saxophone really well so she said she was definitely going to enter. As the band already have a sax player, she decided to learn the part on clarinet. I had a go but I couldn't get a very good sound :D

Hi mum

Something really awesome happened today!!!!!!!!

As my host was only working for the afternoon today, she said she was going to take me out on a special trip in the morning. I was so excited! So we headed out and towards the woodland next to her house!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010748.jpg

We went through a really thin and overgrown public footpath, first of all.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010751.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010753.jpg

And then!!! I SAW ONE! A real sheep!! It was so far away though, my host had to use the zoom so it would be visible on the photo :(

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010750.jpg

As the sheep was so far away, we didn't think that would count as seeing a sheep, but my host said not to worry because we'd be able to see plenty once we got into the woodlands because there were fields either side of the footpath that were bound to have sheep inside.

On the way down there was a gap in the fence leading into the field with the sheep we saw but my host didn't want to go through it in order to get closer because she'd be trespassing on private land.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010754.jpg

And this is the footpath between the fields!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010758.jpg

It started getting quite overgrown though :(

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010760.jpg

Yup, this is still the path apparently! I suggested turning back but my host was adamant that we would see a sheep closeup!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010761.jpg

But when we got through the brambles, we reached a nice wide path again, and look! More sheep! But still too far away to properly see on camera.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010763.jpg

But eventually the path came to a dead end and we still hadn't properly seen any sheep. So my host was a bit naughty and climbed over the fence at the end of the footpath since there were sheep in that field :o Yup, this is the same girl who didn't want to go in the other field earlier on, hehe. But she said this one was a little further away from the farmhouse so it would be unlikely she'd get caught. Still, we made it quick

And look! I saw some quite close to me! Well, closer than the other one ;)

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010765.jpg

But they kept running away when we got close :(

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010766-1.jpg

I was a little bit disappointed that we couldn't get closer but my host took a zoomed in photo for me.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/TV/P1010767.jpg

So then we headed back from where we came, and as we were walking up the very first path (the thin one that led to the woodland path), we saw that the sheep in the first field had moved closer to the path! My host said it was sods law!

But look! I properly saw some sheep, finally! :D

Hi mum

Today is Tuesday, which is my host's only day off, so naturally the weather is a bit grim and it keeps raining.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/P1010771.jpg

So look what she is doing again! More magazine stuff! (Does she ever do anything else aside from work and Soundscape?)

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/natcat10/P1010772.jpg

I am getting a bit bored with nothing to do, so she gave me one of her books to read to help pass the time. She says it isn't her favourite, but that I will get the chance to read her favourite book soon!

Apparently something BIG is happening on Friday though and I am going with her for it, so I am very excited about that! I wonder what it could be!

Hi mum

My host got some bad news yesterday evening and got quite upset.

You know how I posted that something big was happening on Friday? Well it turns out that my host was going to take me to Cardiff and show me the sights, before taking me with her to a venue called Bogiez, where she was going to be interviewing (and later reviewing the gig of) Tim 'Ripper' Owens. She was going to get me to meet him too, which would have been so impressive!

But yesterday evening the show got cancelled because of something that happened with the London show. And as well as being quite upset, as she'd been looking forward to this show and going back to Cardiff for months, she was also REALLY cross because she'd booked £50 worth of rail fares and an overnight stay at a hotel all for this gig.

So now we aren't going to Cardiff because it would essentially be a wasted trip, so the "big event" that was going to happen on Friday now isn't. :(

My host says she's very sorry she didn't update this sooner. She was quite down about last Friday's show being cancelled and she has also been working so much :(

On Friday my host said that she still wanted to do something as she'd booked the day off work, so first of all we travelled down to Pensarn beach and had some food in one of the cafes. My host got quite offended at the fact she got a gallon of milk put in her tea. She says tea only needs a drop of milk but I think she is a tea snob ;)

I also had a photo with the sea in the background, just to show I had actually been there. :)

I could see the sea a bit better when I looked through the telescope though.

We then went to Rhyl and I had a go of the 2p slot machines!

We also had a go on the grabbers and tried to win a Henry Hoover but of course we didn't :p

This is me outside Rhyl Sealife Centre. I kind of wanted to go but I doubt there would have been a dolphin show there as it's only small ;)

Also Rhyl beach view!

Today it was time for me to move on to my new host! I'm quite excited about the trip!

Bit of a small envelope though :o

My host says she wants to thank QuamQuam for letting her host her very first TV!

Also, on Friday it was my host's birthday and she took me with her to her birthday meal! It was a lot of fun but unfortunately most of the photos didn't save to the memory card properly so we were only able to document the very end of the meal, but I thought I should share it anyway :)

I wonder where I will be going next :)

Hello dear Mum,
how are you?

I just wanted to tell you that I am fine. But snow was already falling!! And it is only October...
My Host mum is currently in Hospital, but don't worry, she is fine and gets out next week! After that, she promised to take us to nice places!

Have a nice day!

Hey Mum!

autumn is finally here! It is so beautiful, everything is so colorful.
Because it is my hostmums favourite season, we went outside!
My friends and I really liked it.
Luckily the snow is not here anymore, now it is actually pretty warm again. Crazy weather in Austria!
But I miss you and Berlin so much, so I will come back soon.

I am looking forward to see you again!

Hey there Mum!

Sorry that you didn't hear anything from me in a long time! But don't worry, everything is fine and I am very happy.
I want to send you some pictures of me. The weather here is really strange at the moment. It is so cold and often very foggy. But sometimes it is also sunny, so we went outside.
Enjoy the pictures.

My hostmum bought a new piano! She is very happy that she finally bought a real piano. It sounds much better than the electrical piano.
She is playing very often, and she also taught us how to play some songs! Now even I love to play the piano!
