I love watching movies, being with my friends, shopping, sleeping, also yoga and traveling! My mom Karolina said that this is the place where my dreams can come true - here are people from all countries that can help me see their hometowns and meet other voyagers! To be sure that I won't get lost, mummy told me that I'll only go to the reliable people. But I'm sure that here are a lot of honest and amazing persons! coraline Posted Jul 22, 2012, 8:24 am	Hey! I've already met Zed Dog, a lovely puppy from England, and now I became friends with Emma Squirrel! She came from her latest trip to Finland and brought us some amazing presents: Karolina said that it's time to go and see Vilnius! Finally - though it's my hometown, I still haven't seen the Old Town. We stopped here, next to the fountain: And this is the Town Hall! Isn't it beautiful? Here I am near the Barbora Radvilaitė statue. She was Queen of Poland and Grand Duchess of Lithuania as consort to Sigismund II Augustus: Look! I'm posing in front of one part of the Vilnius University - it is the oldest university in the Baltic states and one of the oldest in Eastern Europe. It is also the largest university in Lithuania: The Presidential Palace is located in Vilnius Old Town, in 1997 this place became the official seat of the President of Lithuania Here is the very famous Cathedral of Vilnius (Vilniaus Šv. Stanislovo ir Šv. Vladislovo arkikatedra bazilika). It's the main Roman Catholic Cathedral of Lithuania. You can also see the Bell Tower! We were going back home and stopped to see the panorama of Vilnius. You can see Gediminas' castle here! Whoa, that was a great day and I had so much fun with my mum and my new friends! coraline Posted Jul 28, 2012, 1:50 pm	Hello! My mom Karolina was really busy this week, so I didn't have much chances to go somewhere. But we spent a really good time at home with my other friends TV's! Soap bubbles are so much fun! And look how many nice postcards my mummy has received from Belarus and Italy! I hope that one day I'll travel there: We wanted to choose a place where to go next (in Vilnius). Karolina gave us a map of the city and we had a really hard time thinking what would be the best place to go next week. But we did it, we chose it! Shh, it's a secret... A day with a movie is even better -we saw "Tangled". It was such a great story! And then Karolina decided to take us for a walk outside, near the house. Another friend came with us - it's Karolina's rabbit, named Mr. Rabbit He's so adorable: Well, that's all for now. It's really hot outside, so I'm almost melting here. coraline Posted Aug 1, 2012, 1:42 pm	Hey! Today is the first day of the last month of summer and also the day when I have to say goodbye to my friends. Zed Dog is also going to other country. We are both visiting Germany and I'm so excited!! Too bad that I have to leave my friends and mom, but they all wished me a safe journey, so I hope that I'll soon reach Germany and start an amazing journey! Ravyna Posted Aug 4, 2012, 5:30 pm	Today I arrived in Germany. I was surprised, when I saw who opened my envelope. There’s already another TV here, I think Niiskuneiti and I could become good friends. They welcomed me warmly and Ravyna says thank you to you, mummy, for the nice things, I brought with me! Hugs, Leila PS: Mum, I have to tell you, that the candy drained off a bit on my journey and now there was a stain on my nice letter. Ravyna cleaned it as good as possible - it’s nearly disappeared - and put it into a plastic sheet, for the next hosts.
Ravyna Posted Aug 7, 2012, 10:18 pm	It’s a bit rainy here, but today in the morning, we were in Lichtenfels, that’s the little town near Ravyna’s home, and the sun came out a bit. We could take a few sight-seeing photos. You can see me in front of the town gate, the town hall and sitting on a huge basket. Ravyna Posted Aug 7, 2012, 11:51 pm	In the afternoon we did something really exciting. We went with Ravyna and her boyfriend rock climbing. These rocks on the pictures are called “Kemitzenstein”. They told us, that there are many similar rocks around and that the “Frankenjura” or “Fränkische Schweiz” (= Franconian Switzerland), where these rocks are located, is a paradise for climbers. After a short safety lesson we could try it our own. Niiskuneiti started and afterwards she secured me. It was so much fun and we were very proud, when we reached the top. See you, Leila

A guy proposed marriage to his girlfriend by building these three words “Willst mich heiraten” (= do you want to marry me) out of 150 bales of straw. In the evening a hot-air balloon flew near Ravyna’s home. Look at its pretty colours, it was nice to watch it. Bye-bye, Leila
Ravyna Posted Aug 12, 2012, 1:17 pm	We went rock climbing again! Today we reached a high (with a little help of Ravyna) on which we found a cat made out of metal. It’s standing there, because these rocks are called “Katzenbuckel” (= a cat’s arched back). Look, what we found else, a notebook in which every climber, who reached the top, can write the date and his name. We were the first ToyVoyagers up there! Love you mummy, Leila
Ravyna Posted Aug 18, 2012, 4:08 pm	Today we have been in Thüringen, which is a federal state of Germany, like Bavaria. I learned that Germany was divided into two pieces for a long time and it was complicated to get from the west into the east and total impossible to get from East Germany to West Germany. The last two pictures show you, where the border has been. Nowadays you won’t recognize it, if it wouldn’t be written on these shields. It says there: “At this place, Germany and Europe were divided until the 18th November 1989 at 6am”. Leila
Ravyna Posted Aug 18, 2012, 4:32 pm	It’s very hot in Germany, so we went to one of many lakes around here, which is near the village Reundorf. In the last picture you can see the big abbey "Kloster Banz" in the background on the hill. Ravyna said, maybe we’ll have the chance to visit it. Kisses, Leila
Ravyna Posted Aug 23, 2012, 6:12 pm	Today we went to the city Coburg. In the morning it was raining so much, it’s hard to recognize the fortress “Veste Coburg” on my first picture. After a while the sun came out and we took photos of the theatre, the castle “Ehrenburg” and a statue of Ernst II., which was very big, although he isn’t very famous; then we went to the inner city and the market place. On our way home we found another place, on which we had a nice view at the fortress on top of the hill. See you, Leila
Ravyna Posted Aug 23, 2012, 10:23 pm	We walked up the Staffelberg, which is one of the important sights around here. It’s near the town “Bad Staffelstein” and up there is an inn and a little church. When you have such a nice weather as today, you can look very far. Do you see the tree in the first picture? It grows on a rock! The last picture shows the Staffelberg from Lichtenfels. ♥ Leila
Ravyna Posted Sep 4, 2012, 11:09 pm	Today I had to leave Ravyna, because I’m travelling to mmm105 in Finland. I’m already very excited to meet other ToyVoyagers and find new friends. Before I went into my travelbag, I wrote a postcard to my mummy, so that she and I have a little memory of my trip to Germany. Then I had to say good-bye to Niiskuneiti, who became a good friend the last weeks. But you know what? I’m going to travel to her mum, so I can bring her greetings with me. I was very sad when we each other a hug, but I’m also looking forward to my next trips! Bye-bye Germany, Finland I’m coming! Yours, Leila
mmm105 Posted Sep 11, 2012, 11:10 am	Hello mommy! I arrived in Finland today!!! I'm here, mommy!!!  When I came out off my envelope, I met many other ToyVoyagers. It was really exited to meet new toys, and to get to know each other, and to have so many new friends so suddenly. Yeah, but it was really fun!!!  They all gave me a group hug as a welcome. And mommy, let me introduced Kurnau cat. He is hostmom's toy, and he will be my host here, too. Mommy, mommy, MOMMY!!! Guess what?  Something really wonderful happened here. Can you guess it? Well, there's another sheep toy (NICI sheep) here!!! Her name is Lina, and she comes from Germany. Mommy, in the very first minutes here, I completed one part of my life mission!!!  Look, here is the picture of us. Do we look like sisters? I feel so comfortable and nice. It's so wonderful, that there's another TV sheep like me here. Now I'm 100% for sure, that I will enjoy my time here in Finland!!!  Love, Leila
mmm105 Posted Sep 11, 2012, 1:37 pm	Hello mommy! As celebrating to meet another TV sheep, we together (me and Lina ) went outside to see surrounding. It was so nice to get familiar with the Finnish nature, and it was even more nicer to explore it with my new friend Lina. Look mommy! There's already an autumn in Finland. It was a raining day, so we didn't go very far. But I saw many things, what is typical in Finland at this time of the year. Look all those different colours! Today I was outside, and I saw some great things of the autumn. Look the photos, mom, and you can see the colours of nature, too. Yes, it's the most colourful time of this season, very soon all trees will be "naked", and then it's time wait some snow coming. I'm so exited, I want to see some snow... but I have to wait little more first... I'm fine here, mom. Love, Leila
mmm105 Posted Oct 22, 2012, 12:40 pm	Hi mommy! Today I visited to see the oldest building of Jyväskylä. The building called as Taavettilan riihi, which is in English the drying barn of Taavettila. The building has buildt somewhere in 1700's, the exact year is unknown. First, building used as a drying barn, but somewhere in 1800's it became usual barn/cabin and it got windows then. In 1900's the building started to be a cabin museum. Jyväskylän vanhin rakennus = the oldest building of Jyväskylä Riihi muutettu tuvaksi 1800-luvun alussa = a drying barn has turn to be a cabin in the beginning of 1800's Jyväskylän yliopisto = University of Jyväskylä Rakennus 3 = Building 3 Because we didn't have a chance to go in (the door was closed), we decided to look through the window... mmm105 Posted Oct 26, 2012, 7:59 pm	Hello mommy! Guess what? Something white thing has came here. It's all over outside. It's cold, white, and it's covering everything!!!      YES!!! It's the first snow!!!  Winter is just around the corner... Temperature has been about -3 degrees Celcius the hole day. Brrrrr... snow is so cold! All others came to sit on the snow, too. Brrrrrrr... mmm105 Posted Oct 29, 2012, 9:17 pm	Hello mommy! Today I was so lucky to go to the restaurant!  Hostmom has a postcrossing meeting, and she took me with her. We were in the restaurant named Huviretki. It was nice place. We wrote many postcards, ate yummy food, and talked to each other. It was very nice to meet new people, they all were so nice. I tried to decide what to eat. It was difficult to choose, because it was Finnish... Some other toys were there, too: Nyankororin cat, Kurnau cat and Tilla Mook horse, who was there with another human. Look, I ate this delicious dish!  Offcourse others want to taste it, too. mmm105 Posted Nov 3, 2012, 8:38 pm	Hei! Hello mom! Kurnau told me, that we all toys can travel with hostmom, when she will visit her parents in other side of Finland in this weekend. I was totally exited about it. It's so cool to see other placed in Finland, too. Kurnau showed me the map. Can you see the spots A and B in the map? Yes, that's our travel plan, it's about 320 kilometres. We are going to little village called Ilomantsi. It's in the Northern Karelia in Finland. After sitting 4 hours in the car, I was tired and I wanted to relax. So, I experienced one Finnish thing, how to relax and take a bath at the same time: I went to sauna!!! And guess what?  I met saunatonttu (=the elf of sauna) there!!! This room, sauna, is a hot place. Saunas are very common in Finland (maybe because the cold and long winter seasons?!?). Finns go to sauna to wash themselves, but also to relax. They throw some water to the kiuas (it's like the "oven", and there are some stones on it), and this hot kiuas makes the hole room so warm place to be. AAAaaaaahh, I'm sooooo relaxed now!!! mmm105 Posted Nov 3, 2012, 8:42 pm	Hi mommy! Unfortunately, the weather is awful here... it's raining a lot...  So, there's no sightseeing here today... But, the bad weather is not the problem for us!  We can do many fun things inside, too.  At first, I want to show you the coat of arms of Ilomantsi. It looks like this: And because there's three kanteles (kantele = it's one kind of instrument) in the picture of the coat of arms, I wanted to play this instrument. And happily I can say, that I did it. I played kantele.    Kantele is the national instrument of Finland, and especially in Karelia. Others played it, too. And then, we found this marvellous little building! Wow!  Hi hiiiiii!!!!! Here I am!  And then, I saw something, what I first couldn't believe...  Look yourself! Is it cool? So many medals and pokals etc!!!    ...Hih, and I'm there somewhere, too. Can you find me? Well, can you see me now? Great! You found me!!! Well done!  Oh, one more photo for today... mmm105 Posted Nov 3, 2012, 8:45 pm	Hello mommy! It's last day of our visit in Ilomantsi, and the weather is still bad... Well, because outside is terrible, we decided to make nice inside this house. Yes, we are going to bake some cookies! First need to use kaulin (= a rolling pin). Then it's time to make cookies. I made bunny shaped cookies. Kurnau helped. He put the cookies to the cookie sheet. Mmmmmm... it smells so good already!  Cookies are ready! Yummy!!!  Now it's time to enjoy!  Love, Leila

He is so typical cat, he likes to sleep a lot. Silly cat!  Mom, look how funny his face look like, when he is yawning!!! Ha haa!  Oooooo! Heeeeeeelp! He is tickeling me with his mustaches! I feel little bit sad, because everyone have been so nice to me, and we became good friends to each other. Well, the life goes on, and new places and new adventures are waiting for me. I said goodbye to Kurnau, too. He was great host. Just before going into my envelope, hostmom's cat Jeppe came to say goodbye, too. And then I growled into the envelope. Blackie Posted Dec 2, 2012, 3:53 pm	Hi Mummy! Here I am again! Today I could finally come out of my envelope and have a look around, breathing the fresh air again! My host came to pick me up with all my new friends: Trifolo the rabbit and Wellington the penguin, who are living with her, and 2 other ToyVoyagers: Orkku Orava the squirrel and Gaspode the dog. As I heard someone speking outside, I started shouting to come out -I was sooo tired to stay there! Luckily, they open the envelope quickly! Hello!!!! Here I am!!!! I greeted everybody and gave them the Mommin lollipop I took with me your letter, Mum. They read and promised they will keep good care of me. I'm sure they will!!!!  As I've been in the envelope for so long, my new friends invited me for a stroll outside. It's very cold and there is snow!!! Trifolo was too cold to come outside, but Wellington was very happy to come with us! We even engaged in a small snowballs battle -Wellington and Orkku Orava VS. me and Gaspode!  Then we tried to build a snowman... ... but the snow was too iced and we couldn't really model it, so we had to give up! It's so cold that all the water now is ice. Wellington looks quite happy, but all of us other wouldn't dare to walk on pure ice!!! Then we went back home for lunch. Did you know it's our host's birthday today???? I didn't neither...  But of course her mother did, so she made a special cake for her!!!!  Something Hello-Kittish... We ate it with some good Spumante, it was really good!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRANCY!!!!
Blackie Posted Dec 24, 2012, 2:18 pm	Dear Mummy, how are you doing? Christmas is approaching and today our host decided it was time for some Christmas shopping & sightseeing! So, we walked to the very city centre, passing by the Roman ruins of Torino. Most of Italian cities have Roman origins and so does Torino, but there are not a lot of remainings of that time, the Palatine Gate is the most important one. Then we walked to Castle Square, which is one of the most important squares in town. Here we saw 2 of the Savoy's palaces, the Royal Palace... and Madama Palace. Those are the places where the Savoy kings used to live! And there also are some Christmas decorations -look, they put an advent calendar in the square! This one is quite weird... can't really guess why it should look Christmassy... but it's artistic it its own way!  On another square thay have an old merry-go-round, which looks much more Christmassy!  But the Department Store is the most Christmassy place of all!!!! Look Mum, doesn't it look beautiful?  When we came out of the store it was dark outside, so we could see all the Christmas lights! The city of Torino puts a lot of efforts in those "Artistic Lights" and some of them actually look gorgeous and bring you a sense of happiness! This one tells you a whole story! But it was in Italian, so Francy just gave us a little summary: it talks about someone walking in the wood with snow...  As we went back to Castle Square, we notice there was a show going on on Christmas music: look at the dancers over the square!!! Then we decided to go back home walking through Via Garibaldi. There are some birds over it, and we followed the red ribbon they hold... where will it go??? Here it is!!!! There's an angel in Piazza Statuto, where the street ends, holding the ribbon!  Can you see it? Unluckily it was dark and the statue is almost black, but you should be able to see its silhoutte! So, here we are back home! Today we bought some Christmas decorations and a few "Panettone", which is a typical Italian cake they eat at Christmas. We wanted to taste one, but Francy told us they are to be given a a gift to relatives and friends. But she says, we'll surely manage to taste it at Christmas. Can't wait!
Blackie Posted Dec 24, 2012, 2:35 pm	Hi Mum! Our host Francy is spending the afternoon shopping for Christmas presents, but we decided to stay home and put on some nice Christmas decorations! We have a lot of them, so we had to pick the best ones! We put up a small Christmas tree, and after that we decided to do another one with a green plant we have at home! Francy will be happy when she'll be back! We worked hard, so we decided it was time to relax with a nice hot chocolate. We made it with chocolate blocks, it's pretty simple! You just have to heat the milk and put the chocolate block inside to melt! It's yummy! It's nice to wait for Christmas this way!
Blackie Posted Jan 7, 2013, 12:11 pm	MERRY CHRISTMAS MUM!!!!! I missed you so much in these days...  Oh well, we went spending the Christmas time at Francy's parents, in the mountain. We expected a nice winter landscape but no, there was no snow and it was sunny and quite hot... but we still had a Christmas tree! We placed there all the gifts we have been shopping for... ...and before night, many others appeared! We're curious, who knows what will be inside?  Well, Francy let us open what looks like her most important present! It's kinda diffucult job when you're just a few centimeters tall... but we are a team!  So, here it is! An e-book reader!  Looks cool, mmmh?  Oh well mum, I would love to tell you more about my Christmas holidays as we did quite a lot of things, we baked a lot and then celebrated the New Year... but the other Voyagers here are getting impatients to update their blogs as well so I have to leave them the pc now... you know, we only have one for the three of us!  Talk to you again very soon!

I’m sorry I didn’t update you lately, but Francy got some good news and she couldn’t really help us blogging a lot lately: she started a new job! But I’ll tell you about it later, now I have lots to tell you about other things we did while we were on holiday! So, my last post was about Christmas… let’s talk about Boxing Day then! That morning we had a nice breakfast with tea and gingerbread cookies. They looked good, didn’t they? So, we decided it was time to contribute as well, and we picked a cookie recipe to try: Peanut Butter Cookies! So, we started working all together, weighting and mixing all the ingredients. We had a lot of fun, and all of us had the chance to contribute someway! The best part of it was adding the peanuts! Trifolo weighted them… ...and then we had to make them in very small pieces, so we put them in cloth and... started jumping on them all together! Oh well, they really didn’t turn out in the smallest pieces ever, but it was pretty good... The mix actually turned out to be wuite hard in the end, and Orkku Orava found it quite hard to give it the final mix... But in the end she did it, and we could form the cookies and bake them! But look! While they were baking, the grew up and become one single big cookie!  We had to cut them to have more cookies! They were good, you know... And we had a lot of fun! I think we could open a bakery soon!
Blackie Posted Jan 28, 2013, 11:48 am	Hello again! Guess what? The cookies we baked on boxing day were so good, we decided to bake something else today! J So, we took the recipe book and picked a new one: Banana Cupcakes! This was quite a long recipe, so we had to work on different things at the same time. Luckily, we are 3! So, Orkku Orava and me started weighting some of the ingredients, while Gaspode told us how much we should weight. Then Orkku Orava started squashing the bananas, while I made some sour cream (did you know it doesn’t exist in Italy??? We had to make it ourselves!) and Gaspode was mixing flour and eggs. We worked as a team, quickly and effective! Finally Gaspode and I put the mix in the baking moulds, while Orkku Orava was turning the oven on. But it was not over yet! While the cupcakes were baking, we had to prepare the peanut butter frosting… ...and Gaspode decided to add a final touch but cutting some banana slices to decorate the cupcakes! J Here they are! They looked good and they were delicious, we were very proud of them! J I will make them again for you when I’ll be back home Mum!
Blackie Posted Jan 28, 2013, 12:20 pm	3, 2, 1… HAPPY NEW YEAR MOM!!!!!!!  How did you spend the New Year???? I spent it with my friends, of course! After dinner, we watched on tv the Italian Republic’s President giving a speech but to be honest, we soon got bored, so we decide to pick another channel an wait the midnight by dancing „Gangnam Style“!  At midnight, we went out to watch some fireworks! They were very colourful, but also very difficult to be photographed, so here is the best we could do…  It was pretty cold outside anyway, so we went back in and finally enjoyed a slice of panettone with some Italian Spumante wine!  After the wine, our mood was quite good so we had some social dances...  But when Francy saw us, she said it was cleary time to bed, so the party was over. But it was fun while it lasted!

Today, something magic happened!  Francy told us that in Italy, on January 6th, all the children get a visit from the "Befana", an old lady (maybe a witch???) who flies on a broom and brings them candies and sometimes coal. It depends on how good the kid behave during the year. But we've been very good kids last year, so the Befana can only bring us a lot of candies!  We decided to wait for the Befana, so we hide on a shelf all night long. We were very well hidden, can you spot us? Then, with the first lights of the day... here she came!!!!!!  She landed on the table and she looked around to make sure she was alone... But we couldn't resist and popped out of our hiding place and went to greet her!!! She looked quite surprised to see us!  But she allowed us to look in her bag and take the candies!  There were quite a lot of them, and we started tasting right away!  Then the Befana had to go visiting other houses (she actually was quite late, as she was supposed to finish during the night... but she said she's getting too old to rush...  ). So she flied away. Goodbye Befana, we all hope we'll be in Italy to see you again next year!
Blackie Posted Feb 3, 2013, 2:14 pm	Mmmm.... Christmas holidays are over now... and as I mentioned, my host Francy recently started a new job. So, today we decided to go with her and help her getting things done! We went with her in the office and started by turning the pc on, while she was having a coffee.... Then we helped with some difficult accounts... luckily we had a calculator! And before the day was over, we gave the archived documents a new order. Francy was very happy on how we helped her, so she organized a little "pizza party". We got our pizzas delivered home! Working is not so bad!

Yesterday Francy came to me and told me it was time: I had to reach my next host  She looked pretty sad about it and told me something about everything she would have loved to show me, but we didn't managed to see during my visit. I had to promise I'll be back someday!  My toy mates looked pretty sad as well, but they were very helpful in getting me ready to go! I grabbed my letter to show to my next host, and then said goodbye to all of them....  Then we slipped the letter in my envelope... ... and then it was my turn! Goodbye, friends! As I was inside the envelope, I could still hear them working around the envelope to seal it and let me travel safely... I hope they did a good job! Denmark, here I come!!!!!
