I arrived in Geneva, Switzerland on November 11, 2011.
I met a whole bunch of new friends, took a bus ride to see a concert, and had a lovely dinner with my host. |
widhidana Posted Jan 3, 2012, 8:44 am |
November 13 is my Swiss host's birthday... so my new friends and I celebrated her birthday together. We surprised her with a happy birthday song and then we ate the rainbow cake together. I also got to swim in a pool of candies. That was pretty cool. |
widhidana Posted Jan 3, 2012, 9:07 am |
My host had a meeting in London and she took me with her. Of course I had to be very quiet during the meeting, but the day before the meeting we had a tour of the city. It's such a big city and I feel like I'm such a small frog. |
widhidana Posted Jan 3, 2012, 9:15 am |
On November 28, we went to see the Onion Market (or Zibelemärit) in Bern. It was very interesting but it was so crowded my host couldn't get a good picture of me. I did get some pictures with the confettis, and then I posed at the parliament building and I also got my picture taken with the lovely green "onion" candies. |
widhidana Posted Jan 3, 2012, 9:41 am |
To get around in Geneva, we take the public transport. Although my host said I don't need a ticket cause I'm so small, I did want my picture taken with the ticket machine. The bus we took was strangely empty. I had my picture taken with this wonderful mural. It's one of my host's favorite scenes in Geneva. |
widhidana Posted Jan 3, 2012, 9:53 am |
I ate some chestnuts today! Yummy! |
widhidana Posted Jan 3, 2012, 9:55 am |
Merry Christmas!
One of my life missions is to spent Christmas abroad and well, here I am celebrating it in Geneva with my host and my friends. I do miss my family but whoa did we have a great one! |
widhidana Posted Jan 3, 2012, 9:59 am |
This was supposed to be my last day in Switzerland... my host had some friends over and we were playing a guessing game which was a lot of fun, when suddenly the door bell rang and this lady who lives in the next apartment came running in for water. Next thing we know there was a thick smoke coming out of her apartment. It was chaotic. We got out of the building and were let back in after a few hours. We cleaned up and slept the whole next day. I postponed my trip home, of course. |
widhidana Posted Jan 3, 2012, 10:01 am |
My obligatory photo with the Jet d'Eau! |

He is planing to travel soon again... |
widhidana Posted Jan 3, 2012, 10:36 am |
Went to see the flower clock, then the archaeological site and then up to the Cathedral's towers. Also took a photo with a Swiss cuckoo clock! |
widhidana Posted Jan 3, 2012, 10:47 am |
I went on another trip with my host, this time to Amsterdam in The Netherlands. It was foggy the first day, but the second day the sun was shining and we went on a canal cruise. And of course I had to have a picture with a windmill! |
Reissari Posted Jan 14, 2012, 3:02 pm |
I had a chance to be in a postcrossing meet-up in my hometown. Now I´m looking forward to a meet-up in some other country.

In the Czech republic, now!
I stay in Olomouc with a couple of nice girls -Hana and Baruna- and their two frenchies. Unfortunately I'm here in the time of historical frosts, so I drink lots of tea and can't spend much time outside. But I have seen the whole Olomouc already, it's such a beautiful city!! Here are few pictures from our latest walk. Here I'm in front of wonderful Saint Wenceslas Cathedral, it's really really old building, older than me, older than my mum, you know.. With one of the frenchies - Franklin. the olomouc archdiocesan museum - I'm going to see few exhibitions there .. This is the best veggie restaurant in Olomouc, I really enjoyed eating there because everything there was green - just like me the town hall THE JUMPZILLA!!!!!! I found the street where I'm living now I was absolutely fascinated by this astronomical clock, amazing! and here I'm in front of Holy Trinity Column in Olomouc (one of the UNESCO World Heritage), really really high! these are both my french friends - Stella, the white girl and Frank, my dude. We spend lots of time together when Hana and Baruna are in the school or job. I think Stella and Frank are half dogs and half frogs, because we have lot of fuuun! and this is the mother Duck, I sleep on her back and feel really safely with her Tomorrow I'm going to see the Palacký University where Hana and Baruna study, I've heard the University is beautiful building, so I can't wait. |

Hi Mum,
As I wrote you in a PM, I arrived safely in Germany. Dicker Kumpel is my host here – and he gave me a warm welcome. Then he introduced me to the other guys here. I arrived just in time for a trip to Lübeck – a really nice town. On the photo you see one of the typical backyard there. This is the famous town hall. Here you see it from the other side. This building is called Holstentor. It is really famous in Germany – and had been on a money note in the Past. Can you see me? Here – in the flower! It was a nice first trip! Love JUMP |

Hi Mum,
The weather was nice outside so we took a walk around Sülfeld. Behind me you can see the tree that Dicker Kumpel loves most. Look – we had sunshine – and talked a lot on this bench. The trees looked so wonderful and colorful. I thought about taking a bath – but didn’t do it, because the water was not so clean. Back home we walked through this forest. What a nice house! yours JUMP |
RikeH Posted Oct 30, 2012, 8:04 pm |
Hi Mum,
I went to a small town near to Sülfeld. Look – there was a wonderful water wheel. Can you see me? Maybe it is not so easy – a green frog on the green plant. Behind me you see the church of Bad Oldesloe. Here I sat together with Dicker Kumpel and Dottie Mouse – you can see the water wheel again. There were some nice houses. I wanted to send you this flower – but maybe a photo is enough, too. This is the town hall and a nice fountain. And another nice house – the Stadthaus (house of the town…) There is a nice river in Bad Oldseloe. On our way back to the car we met these ducks. They were friendly and we talked some minutes. Yours JUMP |
RikeH Posted Oct 31, 2012, 8:24 pm |
Hi Mum,
It was sunny outside so Dicker Kumpel and I walked through Sülfeld. It is autumn here – but we have no snow, like you have at home, Mum! I liked the colorful tree behind the little lake. This is the old school of Sülfeld, a nice building. The emblem of Sülfeld is beautiful – but they should put a frog onto it. Sülfeld is an old village, it is more than 800 years old. They have a wonderful church here – we wanted to go into it, but it was a church service at this time. Yours JUMP |

Hi Mum,
SURPRISE! We flew to South Africa. Isn’t that exciting? I looked out of the window. On the map I saw that it won’t take too long anymore. Today we took our first trip here. We went to a colony of penguins, but first I met this nice guy – it was a Dassie. Then I saw the penguins – there were hundreds! I went closer to some of them. Look – there were parents with their child. These guys were very close to our way. I wanted to have a photo with this penguin. He was not afraid of us. It was a nice time here with the penguins! Back ‘home’ we had delicious Sushi. It was a lot to eat, but ToyVoyagers are always hungry. I have a great time here! Love JUMP |

Hi Mum,
I am in Hermanus now. It’s a city where you can see whales. We saw some from our balcony – but wanted to see more. A funny taxi brought us to the city center. It is called Tuk Tuk. From this point we saw one of the whales very close, but unfortunately RikeH took photos of the whale at this moment – and not of me and the whale. But here you can see how big the whale was. (About 15 meters!) We decided to walk back to our home. The Cliff Path seemed to be a good idea. There were nice plants next to it. We had nice views from the Coast and some Whales – but the Whales were too far away for a good photo without zooming. We took a rest, because the way was long – and we loved this stone formation. Wow – they have strange but beautiful flowers here. Can you remember the photo we took half an hour before? It was nearly the same photo. The path was longer than expected. Because I am an intelligent frog - I travelled in RikeH’s bag. Fortunately we reached our home – and I want to show you our view from the balcony. We relaxed in the sunshine after the long walk. Mum, have you ever seen a big flower like this one? Yours JUMP |
RikeH Posted Nov 8, 2012, 5:06 pm |
Hi Mum,
It was time for adventure –we lived in this tent for 2 nights. We relaxed next to a beautiful lake and in the late afternoon we went onto a safari in this car. We watched out for wild animals and saw some – but you cannot see them on the photo – they were far away! The nature looks different here to my home country! Our guide told us that maybe a hippo is living in this little lake. But we didn’t meet one here. We saw three others earlier in the afternoon – but it is always the same with these wild animals – they didn’t want to be close to us. This is a typical tree for this part of the world. Look – can you see the rhino on the hill? It was amazing – and so big! Yours JUMP |
RikeH Posted Nov 9, 2012, 8:39 am |
Hi Mum,
It was RikeH’s birthday and we sang a wonderful song for her in the morning. In the morning we visited an ostrich farm and learnt a lot about these birds. This one was older than the first one we met. On this photo you can see a family. The black one is the male, the brown one is the female – and you see some children. Their eggs were soooo big. Later we saw some stupid people riding on the ostriches – at this moment there was no one riding anymore. But maybe you can see that the ostriches can run very fast. These 3 ostriches wanted to have a group photo with me. Later we visited the Cango Caves. It was not so nice to take good photos – but I wanted to show you how the cage looked like inside. Back home in our lodge we relaxed some hours – then it was time for meeting elephants. They should be there behind the lake. We were really close to the elephants. These elephants were orphans – their parents were killed in the Krüger National Park. Now they were about 10 years old – and really tall! It was so interesting to meet them! We went back to our tent – you can see it far behind me! Love JUMP |

Hello Mum,
It was our last day in the tent – and I wanted to show you how it looked like. Before we left we had a morning safari. It was amazing – we went really close to many giraffes. There were 10 of it. We stopped at this wonderful point and saw other animals – but they were far away. Here you see me with my friends on our vehicle. I liked this nice flower. We went to Plettenberg Bay – the world looked different there! We went to the beach. Yours JUMP |

Hello Mum,
Today we went to a place called Birds of Eden – the largest free flight bird aviary in the world. We saw a lot of wonderful birds there – look – this one had my color! Can you see this colorful bird? He run away when he saw me. There were a waterfall – we walked behind it. Then we crossed this adventurous suspension bridge. At the end we came to the ducks, swans and other birds who live on lakes. These red birds were wonderful! The last birds were these blue parrots – they were so big! What a nice day here. Love JUMP |

Hello Mum,
After visiting the birds yesterday, it was time to visit the Robberg peninsula. We saw it from our balcony. Then we were there – and behind me you can see the beach of Plettenberg Bay – and maybe our hotel far away. We took a walk on the Robberg – and had amazing views. Here you see me at the point called the Gap. Then we went to the other side of the Mountain – another nice beach. We climbed up the mountain and relaxed, hearing the sound of the ocean. What a wonderful trip! Yours JUMP |

Closer photos here : cheetah1 and cheetah2 Back on the road we saw some antilops and zebras. antilope1, antilope2, gnu, zebra1 and zebra2. From the pool I saw our tent! This was the main lodge. Then I played chess. Time for dinner? This place was a little scary. Back in our room. This was the view to our balcony. And here is our balcony. One day we saw baboons on the hill in the back. In the evening we had another drive and met friendly giraffes again. And lions. This time you can see them better, I guess. Hello Mum,
We stayed two nights in a town called Wilderness – and took walk here. It was so funny – we had to cross a river – and used this kind of boat. We had to use the roped to pull us over the river. Then we walked on this nice way. The river looked so nice. Then I met this beautiful guy. At the end of the trail we took a rest next to this water fall. This was the view into the other direction. Back on our way home we saw lovely flowers. And the river again. Before we went back into our guest house we went to a place called maps of Africa. Can you see why? From that place we had a great view over Wilderness and the ocean. I climbed up a tree – but didn’t see much more from there. Yours JUMP |

This is the church of Montagu, another town on our route. There were many houses with beautiful gardens. And a really big tree with so many birds on it. We didn’t do a lot in this town, because it was so hot – about 32 degrees in the shadow. So we relaxed on our terrace. Love JUMP |

What a wonderful view! Yesterday we were on our way to Stellenbosch and stopped at the Franschhoek pass. I loved this view! Behind me you can see our street. In Franschhoek we stopped at this monument – it was big – and we didn’t went nearer to it. Red flowers in November – what a wonderful country! Today we walked through Stellenbosch. This church looked similar to the one in Montagu. They have beautiful houses here. This is the mill river – in the past it brought water for the mills – now it is here for nice photos. Look at this manor! This plant is so funny – it looks like a bird, I think. This was art! We went into this building – there is a funny store in it – with so many different things. We had a nice time here – now we will drive to our last city on this trip – it is called Cape Town. I will write you from there soon. Love JUMP |

This is the big stadium of Cape Town. And I saw the port with the Waterfront. I love this place! Then we went to our hotel – we had such a nice room. We stopped at the station for the Table Mountain Cable Car and had great views! Look – there is the Signal Hill, where we stood yesterday. I had lovely views from the mountains around Cape Town. On our way back to Cape Town we stopped at a colony of penguins. We visited another colony at the beginning of our trip – and it was nice to see penguins again. There were less penguins in this colony – but they had a beautiful beach. Our next stop was the botanical garden of Kirstenbosch. I saw nice flowers again. These ones were so funny. This is a typical tree for South Africa. They have only plants from South Africa in this garden. Behind the garden there were mountains! I am sure that you know this man – he is very famous in South Africa. The next day we had to say good-bye to South Africa – we had a great time here – and saw so many interesting things! Love JUMP |

Hello Mum,
I wish you a nice ‚Nikolaus-Tag‘. In Germany it is normal to put the cleaned boots in front of the door – and you get sweets. Unfortunately we all had no boots – and decided to draw some. We wanted to wait for the Nikolaus, but he didn’t come and we felt asleep. The next morning we saw that he visited us in the night. I was so happy! Hopefully the Nikolaus brought you something, too! We have snow in Sülfeld at the moment. We tried to build a snowman – but the snow wasn’t good for it – so we will try it later this year. Love JUMP |

I received a big Santa! Then it was time to talk to Snowy the snowman and Rudi the reindeer. Santa was very busy this Christmas – so he sent his two best friends to us. I started and sang a song. Then I performed a poem. I must have been great – and I received something nice from Snowy and Rudi. It was wonderful. I hope that you had a great Christmas Time too, Mum! Yours JUMP |

RikeH Posted Jan 14, 2013, 7:57 pm |
Hi Mum,
The weather was better today – and we took a walk around Sülfeld. You can see Dicker Kumpel’s most famous tree behind me. I loved the view here – I saw a lot of green although we are in the wintertime. We found a sunny place for a rest. On this sign I read that they gave this river his old course back. Nice! Look – what a beautiful house. We went through a forest - not much green here. But I found some green trees. Love JUMP |

Hello Mum,
Look – I met Fiete today. He spent some time with you and now he arrived at home. He showed me wonderful things from Finland. I had to wear this scarf! I visited Hummel – Fiete’s Mum and I played in her Christmas Tree. There were more Christmas things. Then it was time to say goodbye to Fiete. Yours JUMP |

Palm Sunday
One week before Easter we celebrate Palm Sunday. The palms don't grow in Finland so we decorate willow branches with feathers, papers and ribbons. I also decorated my branch of willow and said the verse: Virvon, varvon, tuoreeks' terveeks', tulevaks vuodeks. Vitsa sulle, palkka mulle And then I got a chocolate Easter egg, an Angry Bird egg Jump |

Pablo Posted Jul 1, 2013, 7:20 pm |
Today we made a bike tour through our village Olang. The weather was fine and I enjoyed the landscape from the bicycle basket. I saw mountains, corn fields, flowers and so on. Then we went to a celebration (called "Kirchtag" here). There were many people. Lots of them were drunk, so i prefered to stay in my hostmoms bag |
Pablo Posted Jul 1, 2013, 7:27 pm |
Here is a riddle for you Mom |
Pablo Posted Jul 22, 2013, 8:17 pm |
Hi Mom. Today we cooked a delicious meal called "potato goulash". I helped my host parents to prepare everything. I cut potatoes, zucchini, pepperoni and I spiced it. Finally I also ate the goulash. It tasted very good
I had to take care to not get dirty while eating. My host parents wanted me to wear a bib. We took more pictures and will upload in the next days Miss you so much Mom |
Pablo Posted Jul 29, 2013, 7:37 pm |
Hi Mom. Today we went to the strawberry-land. There we collected, and of course also ate, many strawberrys. My host parents wanted to make jam and I helped them. While they collected I enjoyed the nice weather We picked more than six kg strawberrys.
At home we washed them and prepared everything for the jam, but take a look at the pictures Yours Jump |
Pablo Posted Aug 8, 2013, 7:27 pm |
Hei mom,
last sunday my host parents took me on a alp tour which lasted 7 hours. It was very exhausting. The view was wonderful as you can see. We also found some snow at almost 2000 m sea level, altough it was quite warm. We also found a flower called snow rose We also met some cows which joined us while we were having a break There was also a runlet where I wanted to jump in to cool down It was a great day for us three. I enjoyed it very much and I hope to can repeat it some day. |
Pablo Posted Sep 4, 2013, 7:18 pm |

Hello!
I just wanted to tell this: today I started my travel to POLAND! Jump |
aniaiola Posted Feb 2, 2015, 4:27 pm |
So I m here in Poland :-) I m so happy :-) I gave to my new host Anna postcard from Finland . She liked it very much.
Then I was looking at window and there s some snow in Poland too :-) Now I m going to sleep after my travel. But I can t wait to see new beautiful places :-) Greetings, Jump |
aniaiola Posted Feb 3, 2015, 7:07 pm |
I was at school today :-) YES ! Anna is a teacher right now and she took me today with her to show me classroom. I really like it :-)
But I was there only when clasroom was empty ( without children ) , because Anna wanted me to be safe :-) When Anna was with children I was hidden in her bag. |
aniaiola Posted Feb 6, 2015, 7:19 pm |
Today I saw very beautiful house.
Gerhart Hauptmann lived here in this house . He was a winner of the of the Nobel Prize for Literature on 1912 and spent a great amount of his creative life here. I like this big house. Anna told me that it is museum right now. I really wanted to see how it looks inside, but we were unable to visit museum today. Anna promised me that we will visit this place again, because it looks amazing inside. We are not sure if we will be able to take pictures inside , but we will see later. It s very cold today in Jelenia Gora. And we have some snow :-) |
aniaiola Posted Feb 10, 2015, 7:41 pm |
I was in Jelenia Gora downtown today. I liked those nice buildings. I saw also very beautiful church.
It was really cold . I hope that weather will be much better soon. |
aniaiola Posted Feb 15, 2015, 12:39 pm |
I saw very nice building today :-) The palace in Cieplice (previously: Bad Warmbrunn) was erected between 1784 and 1788 as a residence of the Schaffgotsch family. Now the palace in Cieplice is in very good condition. Some of the original, Classicist elements (floor, paneling, plafond) have survived to this day in some of the chambers on the first floor. The palace right now is used as an Off-campus Educational Unit. The inside of the palace may be visited by prior arrangement with the University authorities, but it is not generally open to tourists. One can also attend an academic event or an exhibition mounted in the palace.
Anna said that we will try to see this beautiful palace inside. She was there and she told me that the ball room, the Blue Room and the Mirror Room are just amazing :-) I hope I will be able to see it :-) |
aniaiola Posted Feb 20, 2015, 5:41 pm |
Today I meet a very nice deer :-) I think he liked me :-)
|
aniaiola Posted Feb 25, 2015, 11:47 am |
I was today in Cieplice with Anna s sister. Anna has a fever so she has to stay at home. Cieplice it s a very nice part of Jelenia Gora. Cieplice is the oldest spa resort on Polish territory as its origins have faded into the dark mists of history. Throughout history the medicinal qualities if the Cieplice waters in this foothills spa centre have been appreciated by many important and famous personalities. Undoubtedly, the most important guest, along with her entire court, was Queen Maria Kazimiera Sobieska. The thermal springs have a temperature between 37°C and 87°C and especially from the deepest wells are the hottest of their type in Poland. That s very interesting place and many people are coming here. And one more thing :-) Anna promissed me to take me to very beautiful place and I will have many pictures there. Hope she will feel better very soon ... |
aniaiola Posted Mar 1, 2015, 1:05 pm |
If cross-country skiing has a capital in Poland, it is definitely in Jakuszyce. This resort located on the boarder of Karkonosze and Izerskie Mountains is a true paradise for those for whom just skiing downhill is not enough.
Jakuszyce is the highest-located part of Szklarska Poręba, where winter is so much at home, that it usually stays over till late spring. These conditions make Jakuszyce an ideal host for winter sports events, the most important being Bieg Piastów (Piast Race) - the oldest and the biggest skiing event in Poland - which draws in crowds of contestants from all over Poland and abroad. Regardless of whether you are a pro or a first timer, Jakuszce guarantees snow, well-prepared trails and wonderful sporting atmosphere - in short – all the ingredients of an ideal active winter break. I was so happy to see this place. There was some competitions there, so I was watching. I meet some nice young people who are skiers. They were very nice and they were asking about my travels. I think they loved idea of toyvoyagers :-) We made very funny picture :-) I meet very funny " animals " too ;-0 Look at my pictures :-) |
aniaiola Posted Mar 6, 2015, 5:13 pm |
Today new friend visited us :-) It s Shorn from Italy :-) He s very nice and very small. This is his first travel . So I told him about my travels.
We ate some cookies with Shorn and of course with Anna :-) |
aniaiola Posted Mar 8, 2015, 1:03 pm |
Look, we saw first flowers :-) It s crocus :-) I like it very much :-) |
aniaiola Posted Mar 10, 2015, 9:05 pm |
Anna s sister was going to travel. Me and Shorn wanted to go with her. She said that she will take us with her :-)
When we were in Czestochowa, we haven t much time to see everything. But I have two pictures. The city is known for the famous Pauline monastery of Jasna Góra, which is the home of the Black Madonna painting. Every year, millions of pilgrims from all over the world come to Czestochowa to see it. It s polish greatest place of pilgrimage. We haven t time to see Jasna Góra Monastery inside. Anna s sister took pictures. She isn t good photographer :-) After very short visit in Czestochowa we were go to very nice meeting with our host s family. |
aniaiola Posted Mar 18, 2015, 8:45 am |
We had very delicious dessert yesterday .
Anna was very busy last days so she was unable to taking pictures. But she said that we will see some nice places soon. |
aniaiola Posted Mar 19, 2015, 5:22 pm |
Today we went to Kowary. Very nice town, very near to Karkonosze mountains.
I saw very beautiful building. Today it s a hospital, but it was a palace. When we were going back to Jelenia Gora- Anna said that she want to show us something very funny. There was a Upside Down House. That was really funny :-0 I saw very nice landscape with Karkonosze mountains, but I will show you those pictures tomorrow. |
aniaiola Posted Mar 20, 2015, 5:02 pm |
So here are some my pictures with Karkonosze mountains. You can see them in the distance. It wasn t the best weather to see mountains very clearly , but you can see how beautiful they are and there s snow :-) |
aniaiola Posted Mar 31, 2015, 2:55 pm |
Last days it was very rainy and cloudy outside so I decided to help Anna to make some easter decorations for children s classroom. I m very happy to spend easter in Poland :-) |
aniaiola Posted Mar 31, 2015, 3:37 pm |
Today we meet new friend. It s GiGi- very nice giraffe. We were talking about GiGi s journey to China .
We saw finally beautiful sun and we wanted to show GiGi some flowers in the garden( we were hoping they still are there after those windy days ) . Unfortunately there wasn t so many flowers as we saw before- but we find some nice ;-) I hope weather will be better, because Anna would like to show us Chojnik castle- this castle is build on the hill. I just have to see it ;-) |
aniaiola Posted Apr 3, 2015, 9:44 pm |
Today snow in Jelenia Gora ! It s really spring? ;-)
Of course we went outside and we were playing, but it was too cold. Actually Anna wanted to show us Chojnik castle today, but this weather just didn t let us go to see Chojnik. This castle is on the mountain and it isn t easy road. Maybe next time... Now we are eating some cookies witch we made before. Very delicious :-) |
aniaiola Posted Apr 7, 2015, 12:59 pm |
Today we went to Cieplice. It was very sunny.
And look what we saw . What a funny pictures :-0 Today we also have to say " Bye" to Shorn. He s going to visit another place. Hope we will meet someday again :-) We ate together very delicious dessert and we went to the Post Office. Have a wonderful time in Portugal Shorn ! We will miss you ! |
aniaiola Posted Apr 11, 2015, 7:09 pm |
Today very sunny here.
We are spending very nice weekend. |
aniaiola Posted Apr 18, 2015, 1:18 pm |
Today we have visited Szklarska Poreba. This town is located very near to Karkonosze mountains, so we were able to see very beautiful views. There s snow yet in mountains :-)
We saw also chairlift :-) It was very funny, because in Jelenia Gora we haven t snow and we can see lot s of flowers. But in Szklarska Poreba there s really lot s of snow. Here are my pictures. |
aniaiola Posted Apr 20, 2015, 8:33 am |
Yesterday we saw canoeing championships.
It wasn t easy to take pictures because they were very fast, but we have some nice pictures. |
aniaiola Posted Apr 25, 2015, 7:21 pm |
What a nice landscapes :-) I just love climbing :-)
|
aniaiola Posted Apr 27, 2015, 5:10 pm |
We have new friend with us :-) It s very nice, little moose - Yuma from Switzerland.
We saw beautiful postcard with butterfly. |
aniaiola Posted May 2, 2015, 1:13 pm |
Today we finally were able to visit Chojnik castle :-)
It is a castle located on the hill above the town of Jelenia Gora. Today the semi-ruined stronghold is a major tourist attraction . The castle dates back to the thirteenth century. On August 1675 the castle was struck by lighting and the ensuingfire consumed building. Castle was never rebuild. The irony of this is that Chojnik, owing ti its location, was the only castle in Lower Silesia never to be taken.....:-) That was really great to visit this place. Amazing, but a little bit difficult road through the forrest. Look at our pictures :-) |
aniaiola Posted May 12, 2015, 8:33 pm |
Here are some our pictures from last week. We were at school and we had so much fun :-) We were playing with lego. Look at that :-)
After very nice time in Poland I m coming back home. I will miss my friends and I will miss Poland. Hope I will be able to visit this country someday. I m on my way to home. I can t wait to see you :-) BYE POLAND !!! |
