My mom always told me I'd be turning into a toyvoyager, but now that it's happened I'm finding myself a bit nervous. :-) I'll be traveling to Western Australia as my first stop off, and I'm quite excited, I'm not going *too* far from home, and I just hope I don't get lost, I'll probably come home often just to have a bit of a rest before continuing on my journey... here's what I look like... I'm handsome aren't I? I love my spots, but I hope I don't get lost having such good camouflage. :-) I hope to see Africa, and maybe get to see some African animals that I've never seen - even though I'm an African animal! Well I'll be off tomorrow, and I'll make a post so everyone knows I got safely to Western Australia! I'm so excited! ...and yet, so nervous, wish me luck!

crizle crizle@westnet.com.au Posted Jun 1, 2008, 2:47 am	Well Mum, here I am way up in Queensland and having alot of fun. When I arrived I was greeted by a Toy traveller called Kiwi and a new little dog Crizle bought from Guide Dogs. His name is Coal. Maybe he will get to travel one day too. I went outside to visit the budgies and they all flew away except one. Then early next morning I went to little Audrey's 8th birthday at the park. All the kids ran away from me too, so they could play. Is everyone scared of me?

crizle crizle@westnet.com.au Posted Jun 14, 2008, 6:45 am	Hello everyone. We had a great weekend away in Brisbane and I visited some nice places. I had lunch at the Casino, sat on some modern 'thing' made of old saucepan steamers,looked at the river, sat on a Police car, and we even stayed the night in a very old Hotel called The Rothbury. I loved the Art Deco lifts but they were a bit noisy and shuddery. Maybe I should have taken the stairs.
crizle crizle@westnet.com.au Posted Jun 14, 2008, 7:01 am	We woke up early and went to the Riverside markets by ferry. That was fun! Then we caught another ferry back to Southbank. I LOVE riding the ferries. I wanted to go for a swim, but the Life Guards said that it was way too cold for a leopard to swim today , so they said I could sit on their surfboard instead. I sat on the sand too and then I found a pretty pebble pool, but it was too cold for that too.

Tomorrow, if it won't rain, my host will take me to her university. I will photo and send my picture to you. P.S. Now, it is rainy season in Thailand. It is greeny everywhere. :-)
crizle crizle@westnet.com.au Posted Jun 24, 2008, 10:40 am	It is my last day here so we did something special. We visited the animals at the Queens Park Reserve. I saw a snake with spots like mine, a wombat, emu,and kangaroo's. I had a wonderful day out, and when I came home all my friends were waiting to say farewell because I am flying out to Thailand in the morning. I am a jetsetting leopard!

mamarine Posted Jul 9, 2008, 9:17 pm	I walked to Doi Pui National Park at 06.00 a.m. It is about  16 Kilometres from down to top. And we spent 4 hours to the destination. I am very tired but happily!
mamarine Posted Jul 23, 2008, 12:14 pm	Tomorrow is the importamt day. It is traditional day of Chiang Mai Univesity. Students will walke from starting point to the top of Suthep Mountain. Because they believe if they walk to the top, they will graduate from the university in time, not lately than 4th year of their studies. I, Princess Sarah and my host are very excited. We can't wait for tomorrow!

When they come to Doi Suthep, they carried the 'Sa-Liang' with Bhuddha Image too. Sa-Ling is looking like palanquin. It used for something which is high-respect.

mamarine Posted Aug 29, 2008, 6:13 pm	After watching Sa-Liang Carrying Tradition, I go to pray the Bhuddha at Wat Phratat Doi Suthep, the temple on the top of Doi Suthep Mountain. I used the lotus for pray. After pray I go to photo with the golden pagoda. It is very great day for me!

TamTa Posted Sep 14, 2008, 9:48 am	Hello! It was nice to go out today as it was warm and sunny We (TamTa, her friend and me) first went to Suidobashi. There is an amusement park, a stadium and a spa. Tokyo Dome was packed with people who are waiting for the day game. We hang around the spa, LaQua, and the shopping mall attached.
TamTa Posted Sep 14, 2008, 9:58 am	Asakusa was full of people! It's one of the most popular sightseeing spots in Tokyo. There's a temple called "Sensoji", the biggest Buddihsm temple in Tokyo. The gate, "Kaminari-mon", or "Thunder gate" is gorgeous! It was also fun to walk through the front approach to the temple... so many souvenir/sweets/snack shops!

TamTa Posted Sep 23, 2008, 6:36 am	Hi! On Sep 20, TamTa took me on a trip. We first went to the Tokyo Big Sight. It's a big exhibistion center in Ariake. We took trains there. The Tokyo Big Sight is huge. There was the big Travel Fair, and we had so much fun visiting many countries booths! In Odaiba area, we went to see some ships, had a cold drink on the pier. The ship is the first Japanese ship that went to the North Pole.

kiskis Posted Dec 19, 2008, 3:05 am	Hi Mom. Sorry it's been long since I last wrote. It's been sunny but cold. kiskis took me to her work and showed me some Christmas decorations. They are not as gorgeous as the ones in Tokyo or in Australia but still here in Chiba, it's pretty nice, I guess. I really love this Christmasy air! Can't wait for the day to come. Well, I will update again. Maybe with pictures with cats. See you soon!

Well, mine was good. kiskis told me that Christmas is not the biggest holiday in Japan. She also told me that it is more like a romantic event here. Most of people spend Christmas with their bfs/gfs. If you don't have one, you spend it with friends. And if all of your friends are taken, you spend it with your family. kiskis made Singaporean chicken rice for lunch. It was good. She cooked some chicken for dinner but forgot to take pictures. It was delicious, though.... It's not a good picture but this is the tree kiskis and her partner decorated. It's pretty small but it was nice. You can see Beatritsche in this picture. She's another TV hosted by kiskis. This is a picture of kiskis' partner's presents. He totally loves video games. He spends so much time playing Monster Hunter 2G, which is kinda annoying kiskis. (It's a secret, though.) He shared some chocorates he's got with us and they were tasty! Can you see the cake shaped box? It's filled with little chocolates tastes like strawberry shortcake, gatau chocolat and cheese cake. Those are kiskis' presents. She's so happy with this electronic English-Japanese-Russian dictionary. Well, hope you had a great holiday. I'm going to post about New Year's Eve and New Year's Day next time. See you mom.
kiskis Posted Jan 7, 2009, 9:18 am	Hi Mom. How are you? あけましておめでとうございます(akemashite omedetougozaimasu). Surprised? It's Happy New Year in Japanese Well, on New Year's Eve, we had うどん(udon, white thick noodle). People usually have そば(soba, buckwheat noodles) on that day. It's called 年越しそば(toshikoshi-soba). It's said that if you can't finish the noodles before the New Year's Day, you won't have a luck with money in the comming year. We had udon because kiskis doesn't like soba and she is a bit allergic to it. It was tasty and I loved it. Of course, we finished before the New Year's Day came. After udon, we had a glass of mango sparkling wine and had a toast. It was good and I felt a bit drunk. We saw 紅白歌合戦(koh-haku uta gassen), a tv program that airs every New Year's Eve. It was interesting to listen to 演歌(enka), Japanese country/blues stuff. Well, I was going to write about New Year's Day but I don't have much time so I'm going to write it next time. kiskis Posted Jan 11, 2009, 7:21 am	Hi Mom! I'm going to write about New Year's Day this time like I said. We went to 成田山新勝寺(Narita-san Shinsho-ji), the temple nearby, for 初詣(Hatsumoude). The temple is one of the 3 best shrines/temples that gathers the most people for Hatsumoude. Hatsumoue is the first visit to a shrine/temple of the year, by the way. People are supposed to go there on New Year's Eve and spend the night there, listening to 除夜の鐘(Joya no kane, the sound of temple bells) but it was so cold and kiskis was a bit busy so we went there on New Year's Day anyway. It was so crowded that the police was there to control how many people to enter the temple and such. Can you see the gate? It was impressive with those carves but I couldn't take a good picture of it because the police was ushering people in, telling us not to stop. There were more people inside the gate, waiting to go upstairs where actual temple is. The beautiful 3-storied pagoda. I wish you could see the details. It was so beautiful! If I have a chance to visit there again, I will take a better picture. There were so many stalls on the street. We had ジャガバタ(Jagabata), a potato with butter, and it was so good. It's one of those stalls that sells お正月飾り(Oshogatsu kazari), the Ne w Year's decorations. Aren't they impressive? It was so crowded but I had so much fun! kiskis Posted Jan 26, 2009, 3:28 am	Hi mom! Sorry for not updating much recently. kiskis has been busy planning her wedding. She's going to have her wedding shinto style. It's been her dream. She showed me the website of the shrine she's going to have her ceremony at. It's the first shrine they visited together. It's in the center of Tokyo and it's one of her favorite places. She is buddhist but she told me that not much people have their wedding buddhist style even though most of Japanese are buddhist. Because shinto wedding had been popular before buddhist wedding was first done. And most of people don't want to have their wedding nearby gravestones. Well, she's going to visit the shrine to have some details discussed and she might take me there with her!! It's just a quick update but I will try to update more. See you!
kiskis Posted Feb 4, 2009, 3:00 am	Hi mom! I went to Nagoya, Aichi It's the moat of Nagoya Joh castle. The statue of the man who was in charge of building the moat. The map of the castle and the park around it. The east gate. There we bought tickets. Nagoya Joh is one of the 3 best castles in Japan. It's famous for its golden end tiles in the sape of a shachihoko, an imaginary sea animal with the head of a tiger and the body of a fish. Before 名古屋城(Nagoya Joh castle) was built, there was 那古野城(Nagoya Joh castle, the same pronounciation but different writing), where Oda Nobunaga was born. On the ruins of 那古野城, Tokugawa Ieyasu, the shogun, who was originally from Aichi, built 名古屋城 for his 9th son. It was burnt down in WWII but it was re-built in 1959. (Some parts of the castle is still under construction.) Now inside of the castle is a museum. It's the famouse golden Shachihoko. It's pretty huge!! Those are shachihoko that were found in the ruins of Edo Joh castle in Tokyo. Not known which roof they were on. Kago, a palanquin. You can see Tokugawa family crest on it. Yoroi, the armor. It looked pretty scary. The castle was pretty entertaining and I loved it! After the castle, we went on shopping. And we met Super Mario! And we found Obamasks. It's weird but they are selling well. Nagoya has pretty unique food culture and it is called Nagoya-meshi. This is Dote-ni. Stewed beef guts and konnyaku with Hacchoumiso, the unique miso from Nagoya. It sounds weird but it was tasty! Those are Tebasaki, fried chicken wings with spicy sauce. They are soooo tasty! Aichi is famous for its chickens; Nagoya cochin and Mikawa dori. This is Hitsumabushi. You can usually see eel hitsumabushi but this one is chicken hitsumabushi. First, you have it without anything. Second, you have it with yakumi, spices. Third, you have it with soup. And finally, you have it the way you liked the best. I liked it with spices. Well, there are more Nagoya-meshi but I couldn't try any other. I was so full and had so little time I want to visit there someday again! On our way home, we saw Mt.Fuji from Shinkansen, the bullet train! Can you see it? I was so happy!! Well, I'm going to Thailand! kiskis has been there once and told me that it's such a exciting place and that she loves Thai food. I can't wait! I will update from there next time. See you!!

(Natt taught me how to say hi in Thai  ) **Happy Valentine's day, Mom..I arrived Bangkok last night..It's a very nice trip from Japan to Thailand..Bangkok is a bit hot but I enjoy it here  **Today is Valentine's day, Natt takes me to Central Rama II to have a nice meal out..There is this very beautiful Red lamps decoration here (Picture No.1)..Very cute, I love it so much **She let me have this very yummy strawberry brownie (Picture No.2) and chocolate mousses (Picture No.3) today..It's just the perfect dessert for valentine..Sweet **Well..I talked to Natt..She said she will take me to many interesting places and we will have a great time together..I can't wait~!! I will definitely keep you post how much fun I have there..Bubbye for now..Take care
natt Posted Feb 15, 2009, 12:12 pm	**Halo~ Mom  **I went to Wat Pak Nam with Natt (Picture 1,2)..We went to this wat (Wat is temple in Thai) to do good merit and pray..We fed the monks, they blessed and sprinkled holy water to me..I'm so happy **I took a photo with the waxwork of Master Sod (Picture 3), the very famous Master of this temple..Natt also taught me how to wai today..It is quite complicate but I like it..You may have a look at the website => "wai" for more information **Then, we went to eat "Guai jub" (Picture 4), it's a kind of noodle with crispy pork and boiled egg in the special soup..We really enjoy it!! I love crispy pork  **It's a nice Sunday..I'm so full of happiness (or maybe so full of crispy pork, haha)..I will write to you again soon..Hope you have a great weekend..Take care
natt Posted Feb 18, 2009, 2:55 pm	**Good Midweek~ Mom  **Natt went to almost nowhere but to her office and home in these past three days..It's a bit boring but I enjoy the ride to her office (picture1), she's quite a good speedy driver (Slow speed, I mean) **Her office is very beautiful..It looks like a park than an office, lots of trees..The roof of the building is a kind of Thai style's roof (picture2,3)..It's a 5 floor building, Natt works on the 2nd floor..She hasn't brought me to her desk yet, she said it's too messy to show..Hope she will clean it up soon..LOL **Okie dokie, I'm going to have this cocoa milk (Milo, picture4) then go to bed..Sweet dreams~!!

I'm so happy here..The sun is shining, the weather is good (A bit hot but nice)..Natt takes me to Wat KarnJaNaPhiSek..It's the Chinese temple style in Nonthaburi province..It's about 1 hour ride..There is a little crowded there today but it's a very nice temple..(Picture 1, 2, 3, 4, 5)..You saw the little golden Buddha statues?? It's really really beautiful..People are doing the mediation and praying in this room..It makes me feel so good..Nice and calm **Next..Have you heard of "Thai Spicy Papaya salad"?? Natt lets me have it today!! (Picture 6)..It's yummy but a bit too spicy for me..LOL..I probably have to go to the toilet now..I will keep you post for more updates **Take care and have fun!!

I'm doing well here..It's a sunny day here again in Bangkok..We go to Queen Sirikij Convention hall today..We takes MRT (Picture1, 2)..Natt doesn't really familiar with the MRT but we make it there  **Thai International Travel Fair 2009 is held at Queen Sirikij Convention hall this week..It's quite crowded there (Picture3, 4)..Lots of travel agencies organize the booth and offer cool cheap travle package tours..There is long holiday here in April, so Natt might go somewhere..But where?? We are there for 4 hours, walking and searching for the perfect places, but still cannot make decision..Anyways, Natt takes lots of brochures back, she is considering all the options..(mm) **On our way back, we stop at Central Rama II and have Haji Ban Ramen (Japanese Noodle) (Picture3, 4)..We have this seafood noodles..Very very yummy!! natt Posted Mar 25, 2009, 2:18 pm	Hi~ Mom **It's been quite sometime since I last updated my travelog..Well..Well..Well..I have been to some interesting places here  **Natt takes me to the national science museum in Pathumthani province..(Picture 1, 2, 3, and 4)..It's very fun and we do the walk rally thing there..The tongue statue is quite weird, but love it somehow  **We met Uncle Ronald (of McDonald) today..He's in Thai's wai position in Thailand..(Picture 5).. ..It's not the same with other countries..How nice!! Do you like him?? I do!!
natt Posted Mar 25, 2009, 3:09 pm	**Hi again~ Mom  **We went to Natural History Museum too..It's in Pathumthani province near the national science museum..(Picture 1, 2, 3)..Lots of good stuffs there..People did studied about insects!!..The grasshopper wears Muay Thai suit.. **For dinner, we stop by and have some Japanese food at Future Park Rangsit Department store..(Picture 4)..It's a self service Japanese restaurant (which is very rare in Bangkok)..Quite good

natt Posted Apr 18, 2009, 9:06 am	**Hi Mom~  **Miss me?? It's been quite some time since my last update..We just came back from Thai new year Holidays!! Wee hee~ We went to the beach in the southern part of Thailand  **The sun is shining and the weather is so nice there..People are throwing water at each other (Yes!! It's how Thais celebrate their New year)..Natt knew I don't really like water so she doesn't want me to get well outside, so I mostly just stay in the resort..This is the only shot that I have during the trip in front of the resort with this funny statue, eiei (Picture1)  :P **Here are some pics from the beach that we go..We take the speedboat to some island into the middle of the sea to see the dolphins (they move fast, so the shot is quite unclear, but it's a dolphin there  (Picture2, 3)..So lovely!! You must like that  **We are back already but still miss the beach and sunshines..Natt promises she will take me to the beach again soon!! Yeah Yeah~  Can't wait  **Bubbye for now and please take good care of yourself, I will write to you more again soon

Hope you have a great time..Natt and I are at Haven, a very cool resort in Petchaburi province (Picture 1, 2)..The sun is shining and the weather is really good..It's super nice there!! **We stay at this very wonderful room that has super nice view..There's a swimming pool in front of our room and the beach out there (Picture 3, 4, 5)..I think I get a bit more tan (darker spots?)..Look good on me!! :P **Anyways, we will go to the beach and will go to buy some sourvenir tomorrow..We do enjoy shopping, so it's gonna be fun..Will definitely keep you post!!

Mom  **We are at HuaHin today, it's a bit cloudy but lucky that it's not rain..We went to eat some seafood and did go to the beach today (Picture 1, 2, 3)..It's a nice beach but the sky is a bit dark **After that, we went to buy some sourvenirs and little snacks..It's crowded there, but we got many interesting stuff and tasty food ..(Picture 4) **It's always nice to have holiday and go out to the beach..I really enjoy the time here with Natt..She's really nice..eiei **Well, it's the last stop here in Thailand with Natt..I will go to HongKong this weekend..I'm sure it's gonna be fun there too, can't wait!!

Western Market; Cat Street; Hollywood Road...... Looking forward to tomorrow. ^0^
PinkiTheBear Posted May 27, 2009, 5:18 am	It rained all week......we staid at home with Pinki and her friends, So boring to sit there without anything to do. Maybe Pinki's MOM knew we all felt depressed, she let us went out in the rain to took the tram visited around Sai Ying Pun yesterday. ^^ We passed through Dried Seafood Street( 海味街 ) on the tram, you'll find rare and expensive items like dried abalone and dried scallops here. See! There are so many salted fishs on both sides of the road!! After that, we went to Western Market. It was originally the old Western Market (North Block), which was identified by Antiquities and Monuments Office (AMO) as one of the Declared Monuments in 1990. PinkiTheBear Posted May 28, 2009, 1:43 pm	Today is The Dragon Boat Festival, also called the Duanwu Festival, celebrates on he fifth day of the fifth lunar month.  The festival has been marked by racing dragon boats and eating Zongzi--glutinous rice wrapped to form a pyramid using reed leaves. After we got up, Pinki's MOM took us to watch the racing of dragon boats. But when we arrived, it started to rain again...... to prevent us to get wet, we can only took a photo and needed to leave, it really let us felt very disappoint. When will the sun come out again??
