I'm a hyperactive little pig. My name is Kunigunde, but you may call me Kuni, Gundi or Gunda for short. I detest being called "Miss Piggy". Please keep me active, I absolutely cannot stay still. I haven't ever tried Ritalin or any other drugs for my condition but who needs those when they can just use the energy to travel the world instead.

I have arrived to Greece! The family is so happy to have me and they say we are gonna have a great time together!
They loved the letter with the 3D image.... well Vicky is still trying to see it!
Take a look of the other Toyvoyagers that stay here! It's Skippy Kangaroo who is here for a couple of months but he is ready to move on to his next host and Ladomar the lion who came all the way from USA!

I think it's now time to introduce you to the family.
Vicky is the mom, she is teaching computers in high school and she loves any kind of crafts!
Aris is the dad, he is a computer programmer and his hobby is electronics and music.
Maria is the 3 years old little girl. She is playing with her toys all day and she loves Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse and Tinkerbell.
Konstadinos is the baby boy, he is only 10 months old but he can already walk! He plays with his cars and he usually destroys everything that comes in his way!
OK, now I have to help Vicky to prepare lunch so I'll update later

Stuffed zucchini, a typical Greek food.
She fist cut the zucchini in half and made holes in them.
Then she prepared the filling using onion, mince, rice, olive oil, salt, pepper, parsley and dill.
We helped her to put the filling
and then they were ready for the casserole
So here it is, ready with a lemon sauce ...
One for each one of us!

today the weather is great.Warm and sunny. Spring is finally here!
So we took the bike and went to the park, to smell the flowers and enjoy the sun.
The park is next to the marina, so we went to admire the yachts and the sailing boats! I wish I was in one of them and go to the Greek islands!
On our way back we saw this small orthodox church. White walls and blue doors is common style of churches and houses in the Greek islands.
It was a great day!

on Sunday we visited a small town in the suburbs.
There is an artificial dam there and a lake full of ducks.
There is also a park close to the dam, where there is a nice playground for the kids and other facilities such as tennis and football courts.

Today we welcomed a new toyvoyager called SunnyHH and we said goodbye to Skippy Kangaroo who is leaving tomorrow to continue his great adventure !!

In Greece they dye them red, to symbolize the stones they were thrown to Jesus and they were painted red by his blood.
No egg hunts here mom, but they have another very funny custom involving the eggs that you will see on Sunday!
So here is a way to dye red eggs the traditional way! You will love it if you are into organic and biological foods!
You boil water with skins from dry onions.
and there you have it! Red dye!
And here is how we made designs on the eggs! By placing flowers and leaves on the eggs, hold them in place with net fabric and tie the fabric with thread.
so here is the result! not bad for a totally natural way don't you think?!
Well we also used red dye from the market for others...

Today we had a great day! We drove from Volos to Afissos, a small traditional village at the roots of the mountain Pilion.

But I also had to say goodbye to all the good friends I have made here because it's time to move to my next host. I am going on a cruise! Yahooooo!!!
So we played with some toys and we even made a music band!
Look I have learned how to play the ocarina!!
It was a lot of fun. Tomorrow I am going to the post office. I am packed and ready to go. Next update from a new country!!!

today I arrived in Sülfeld, back in Germany again.
There were some TVs sitting in their armchair. Can you imagine, that the TVs have their own armchair here?
Well, I said hello and we talked a lot.
Because we were hungry we ate a big Pizza,
but it was to big for us...
Then Rike took us to the playground.
We had a lot of fun together.
Now we will talk about our adventures.

This evening Lupus-Tigger invited me to the dance-school. We went there with a moped and enjoyed the sun.
Then we took a delicious drink.
The room was pretty with a wooden dance floor. We had so much fun, dancing to the music...
...and helping Tobi with some steps.
After it, we ate a delicate ice – what a wonderful evening.
We went home and told the other TVs about our adventures. Then we all played with the wonderful balloon.

Today we went to Hamburg, because the port has birthday.
We saw a lot of nice ships.
This big cruise-ship is called Voyagers of the Seas – it should be ToyVoyagers of the Seas…

The nice yellow fields are typical for Northern Germany at this time of the year. The plant is called rape we think, in German it is Raps, a funny word.
Then we saw this nice maypole…
…and made a rest next to a lovely lake. We all had fun together.
In the evening we said good-bye to TobiHH, because he will start his trip to Finland now.

in the afternoon we went to visit a nice castle. It was built in the years 1570-1585 and is very nice. Unfortunately we were not allowed to make photos inside, I think, they want to sell their postcards

today two new TVs arrived here. It was just the right time for them to arrive. Rike planned a nice party with many games today, because three of us will travel to our next destinations this week-end. Now it is a Farewell- and a Welcome-Party. Great !
For the Party we had two teams. I am in the team for the small TVs.
First we played billiard. That is not easy….so we moved the billiard cue together.
The next game was darts. We shouldn’t sit on the darts, but it is so much fun ! We all tried to have a 180, but that is not possible for a little ToyVoyager.
After these sportive games, we played a game, named Ligretto. It is a very fast game and we had so much fun !
Our referee was a very funny Toy – it is called long hippo. He counted all the points from the different games and believe it or not, we are all winners. What a wonderful evening.
We had a wonderful sky - can you see me in front of it?
On Saturday Super Grover, Murph and Cassandra will leave us, but I am sure, that I will have a nice time with Bree, Lupus-Tigger and Penny.

Today we are in Cornwall, in a city called Falmouth. This is a view from the ship.
In this small boat I made a trip along the coast and to a rock in the Sea, where many birds are living.
In the garden of Falmouth weren’t so many plants, but I love this big one !
I saw many yachts, and in the background you can see our cruise-ship.
On the way back we found an English red telephone box.
It was a nice sunny day !!!

we were in Cobh and made a trip with a bus.
We visited a castle, called Blarney Castle. It is only a ruin today, but we had a nice view from the top. After that we walked through the nice garden.
On the way back we stopped in Cork for a photo of a church, then we walked through Cobh and found the nice Clock-House.
Back on the ship, some girls danced the Irish dance for us.
When the ship started his way to the next port, we all were out and had a nice view over Cobh. After it we saw the pool of the ship and played a round of Shuffleboard.
We had much fun together !

We visited two different castles – the first one is called Urquhart Castle and is a ruin. It is next to the Loch Ness, but we didn’t see the monster….
The second castle (Cawdor Castle) is not a ruin – there is still someone living in it. We were allowed to visit ii, but weren’t allowed to take pictures. So we made a few from outside and in the beautiful garden.

This street is called the Royal Mile. It is between the Palace and the Castle. And you see me in front of one of the many churches…
When we came back on the ship, there was a nice buffet. I loved the cakes !

This is one of the lounges – called the Captain’s Club, but we didn’t see the Captain.
Here we are at the moment – somewhere around Great Britain.
That is the way we had to run, when there would be an alarm – and the last photo shows the way to our cabin.

Today is our last day on board. We had a tournament of fencing. The winner will get a cake and some sweets. It was a hard fight.
Penny and I were in the final…
but then we all decided, that it is much nicer to have the cake and the sweets together.
After eating all these things, we went out for a last walk, because our cruise will end tomorrow. We saw a wonderful sunset – and then a beautiful sky.
I really loved this cruise – can we do some together soon, Mum?

Today is the last day for 3 of us in Sülfeld, so we watched our travel logs together. We had so much fun to see, what we have done!
Then we all decided to talk all the day and the night, before some of us leave to their new hosts. So here we are sitting in front of long hippo and talked about our adventures. From the left to the right you see us all together. We are dicker Kumpel, me, ThomasHH, Slummy, Penny, Bree and Lupus-Tigger.
I had a great time with RikeH and the other TVs, but now it is time to visit the next host.
I will leave tomorrow and go to echo in China.

However, it shouldn't be my first time to visit China. It is said I were born in China. So it is a little like a trip back to your birthplace.
Anyway, it is a long way and takes some time. That is what I get for a welcoming gift: A WATERMELON. It tastes delicious.
After that, I have a photo with all the other toys. I am the only Toy voyager.
NUONUO, he is a polar bear, and he comes from Germany as well. I am very glad to know him. He is willing to teach me a bit Chinese and before I can chat with the others, he will be my interpreter.
My new host, Echo, gives me a Chinese name. It is very cool, right? I am trying to remember how it is written. She tells me this name fits me because it sounds like KUNI.
As I get too tired, I decide to have a good rest. This guy invites me to his house. I am sorry I can't spell his name. He is a Japanese, I think.

I have a little problem in the photos, so I fail to upload the photos I have taken today. I will do it the next time. Echo asked me to say sorry to you.
Last night it rained heavily and the temperature get down a little. This morning I have met a butterfly on the glass. She is sleeping so I just take a photo with her and not bother to wake her.
Echo and I have spent some time discussing which place I were born. She guessed it may be another city Yanzhou. She said that city export a lot of toys every year. She have visited there and she showed me the photos. They were really excellent.
Without photos it seemed a little difficult to show you exactly what I have seen here. So next time I will give you more details.
In China it is 22:27, so I have to go to bed. Good night, mom.

A lot of things happened. My last travel blog, which is lost, is about my help to Echo's examination. We prepare together and attend the exam together. After the exam, I help Echo with her moving. They have moved to a new dormitory, which is smaller than the previous one. I have to be resposible for all those toys since I am the one who travels most! It hasn't been completely set down.
Nanjing's street is full of people! Can you imagine it? I have never seen so many people in Germany. I came across a lovely shop one day and I asked to be taken a photo. The shop is filled with cute toy bears! I will show you another day!
It has been ten o'clock, of course, in China. Good night! My dear mom.

The black line will be our routine.
This is the Nanjing Railway Station. Today we'll leave. Hope it is a fine day.
The Nanjing Railway Station is the opposite to the XUANWU Lake. You may cannot see it very clearly cause it rains a little. Xuanwu is a Chinese word which may be a snake and a turtle. It may has some legends, but I don't know.
We walked on the square of the Station.
As Echo has no website connection at home, it may be a little difficult to update my blog frequently. Please don't worry.

It used to be the place where a exam was held to select youth. China is so big that they separated it into two district. The northern people could attend the exam in Beijing, while the southern ones choose Nanjing.
This is a house of a rich man in ancient China.
Can you see the big red and yellow lanterns behind me? Each of them has a ancient Chinese famous woman drawn on it.
Two dragons play a ball. It is a typical Chinese symbol.
It is called a lucky tree. Of course it is not natural. I like it very much.

The statue is Confucius, (551?-478? BC) Chinese philosopher and teacher who founded Confucianism. He is the most important cultural person in Chinese history. A lot of students take photos here to wish a good study performance.
You can see the beautiful ridge behind me? Actually it is very high. Although this one is new, in ancient China it is drawn delicately as a tradition to show the richness and good taste.
This is a big stone! I think it looks like a turtle! Don't you think so?
This is a camel. You know, it is an important transportation tool in the past in the dessert. Sorry I am a little scared to stand by him.
That is really a pity as we don't see the pandas. We still have a happy day.

Today we did a lot of shopping. We went to Wal Mart and to Publix. My host had to get a new microwave, and buy some tea.
It rained all night, and they wouldn't let us take pictures inside. This is me in my host's van, looking at the rain.
As a treat to welcome me, we went and got a Redbox movie.
There were so many to choose from! It was hard to decide....
Eventually, I picked this movie:
It was really funny! We are about to go to McDonalds and get some dinner, so I have to go. Bye Mom!

Today I got to go on a fun fieldtrip to EPCOT. It was amazing actually being in Walt Disney World! Unfortunately, my host's camera deleted most of the pictures we took
Here is me in front of Spaceship Earth. It was a really fun ride, and I even got to listen to it in German!
After that we went on Mission Space! Here I am outside of it.

Here I am waiting to get on the Nemo Living Seas ride!
Those are all the pictures that were left on my host's camera. We went on a lot more, and had funn in the World Village. I visited my homeland there, and we got to see the dinner show there! We ended up with an extra FASTPASS for Test Track, so I get to keep it as a fun souvenir. I had so much fun at EPCOT today! Thank you for letting me come here Mom!

Today I got to help make some delicious tacos, with a Puerto Rican twist! First I had a yummy cookie as a treat though!
Here is the special spice we used for the tacos. It's called Adobo, and is made of lots of kinds of peppers, onion powder, and some other secret ingredients. Oh, Mom, it makes the food taste really good when you use it!
Here is my taco all done! I rolled it myself, can you tell?
After dinner we played Mario Kart on the Wii. I lost a round, so that is when we took this picture. I won all the other times though!
Then I decided to take a nap, and guess who layed down with me... my host's dog Rufus! We napped together. He is a nice dog!
I am tired still, so I will go to bed. Goodnight Mom!

We went to a fun pool party today at my host's friend's house! I got to meet so many nice people!
Here are the rules we had to follow. Some of them we broke, but don't tell!
This is me doing a trick with my host and her friend Tiffanie. Can you see me on top of her head?
We got a cake because my host's friend graduated his first year of EMT training. It was funny because we forgot a knife and had to cut it with a fork!
We got into a frosting fight. I got some on me, but we all washed it off, so I am still good! Mom, these people sure can be crazy!
I had a lot of fun at the pool party! Soon I am going to Disney World again, and I am really excited!

This is the sign for the Carousel of Progress. They have a very fun song in that ride! "There's a great big, beautiful tomorrow shining at the end of every day." My host taught me the words before we went, and we sang with the ride!

Oh mom, last night there was a really big lightning storm here! The lightning was really close, and I got scared by it. My host stayed up with me and we watched her favorite show The Big Bang Theory together because we couldn't sleep. Mom, that show is so funny! The storm finally ended around 3am, so we slept very late the next day!

Today we made some chocolate chip cookies. My host gave me the recipe to take home, isn't that great? They were chocolate chip, and use a super secret ingredient....TABASCO SAUCE! Have you ever heard of putting hot sauce in cookies, mom? I hadn't, but it did make the cookies really really good! I can't wait to make them with you when I get back home!!!

Today is was very hot, so my host took me swimming in her pool! We had a lot of fun and played a new game called Jailbreak. Then, when we got tired of swimming, we played a card game with her family. It was called ERS, and very fun! We used Florida Gators cards because that is the college sports team my host likes! They have a cool mascot!

Today has been a very lazy day. The air conditioning is broken in my host's house, and it is very hot. I hope that it rains so we can cool down some! I have been helping my host do some of her college work on the internet. She is taking lots of classes, and I wanted to see what college is like. Mom, it is a lot of work for her, but we had fun while I helped! My host says that soon she will have an End of School party, and that I get to stay for it. I've never been to one, so hopefully it will be very fun!

Today we went to my host's friend's house to watch a UFC Championship Fight. It was very interesting!
There were a lot of people there, so there was also a lot of alcohol too. Here I am with an Elvis wine glass full of Sangria. I didn't drink any because they said I was too little....
Before the fight started we played lots of games. We played foosball with some of the guys and us girls won!
Then we played a big game of charades called Guesstures. It was really fun, and the way some clues were acted was really funny!
After that I helped my host's uncle Harvey fix his car. Do you see me there?
The flash of my host's camera made me look white!
The fight was really fun to watch!!! There were so many people screaming and shouting about who they wanted to win, Mom, I could barely hear anything on the tv!!! It was over really fast, and I don't remember who won. Oh well.... I liked the excitement in the air, and it was really fun!
Oh, Mom, I just got wonderful news! I am going to Chicago for three weeks! I've never been there and my host is taking me as a special surprise! I'm sooo exited!!!! I'll take lots of pictures to show you when we return, but now I have to go pack.
