It's party time! It is Captain Caramel's birthday.
![]() There's a candle on the cake. ![]() After the cake, we played with these balloons! ![]() |
miapearl Posted Mar 6, 2011, 7:18 pm |
On our way home, we went via Magna, an industrial science museum set in an old steelworks near Rotherham/Sheffield.
There were 4 zones. The first zone we went to was Water. ![]() A whirlpool exhibit. ![]() A water wheel. Next, we went to Fire. ![]() This is a fire tornado. ![]() Lighting isn't that good for photographs with the fire tornado. ![]() Next stop was Air. This is a musical exhibit with tubes and things. ![]() The exhibit can be quite noisy. ![]() We then went for a game of Air hockey. ![]() The air blows through holes in the table and lifts up the puck ever so slightly. ![]() This is a frequency exhibit with little polystyrene balls bouncing. ![]() This is a different frequency. ![]() Before going on to the final area, we caught some of the Big Melt show, a reconstruction of how they made steel. This is the arc furnace. ![]() We went to the final area, Earth. The set up is quarrying "rocks" and these get picked up by the children and taken somewhere by wheelbarrow before going on conveyor belts and distributed either back to the "quarry" or to a chute. ![]() Can you see the "rocks" on the conveyor belt? |
miapearl Posted Mar 29, 2011, 9:34 pm |
We've already said goodbye to Pippi, regit brown, Captain Caramel and Baconella.
Mummy, is this a new visitor? ![]() Let's open it up. ![]() I hope he can squeeze through this hole. ![]() Yes! he's free. Hello, my name is Kibblet , nice to meet you Frankie_Blue |
miapearl Posted Mar 29, 2011, 10:03 pm |
Today is another nice sunny day. My mummy decided to take some of us toys out (we drew straws and I won!) to a World Heritage Site - Caernarfon Castle.
![]() It is quite a long castle. ![]() We climbed up a tower by a spiral staircase. Mummy found it hard to get the lightning right and used her photo editing software to show us better. ![]() In the background are some of the hills and mountains of Snowdonia. ![]() The castle is built on the side of the River Seiont. ![]() We are rather high up! ![]() It is a long way down, so glad I have a break from being photographed high up with a long drop behind me! ![]() we've come to the other side of the castle. That's a dais. ![]() This is where Prince Charles received the crown to become the Prince of Wales ![]() Though my mummy wasn't even born in 1969. ![]() ![]() Cannons! ![]() |
miapearl Posted Mar 31, 2011, 9:32 pm |
Today, mummy got two parcels in the post
![]() I wonder who our new visitors will be! ![]() The new visitors are Belka and my brother, Rendolph ![]() |
miapearl Posted Mar 31, 2011, 9:33 pm |
Some of the toys are going away on their travels tomorrow, so we thought we'd have a game of Cluedo playing in teams
![]() However, we spent far too much time chatting instead of concentrating on the game and we all drew the 8th clock leaving the crime unsolved. |
miapearl Posted Apr 6, 2011, 4:45 pm |
Today, Royal Mail issued some nice stamps and my mummy went out and bought some.
![]() Do you like them? |
miapearl Posted Apr 6, 2011, 7:58 pm |
Today, we went out GeoCaching.
![]() The first two we found are part of a series. This is exciting stuff, looking for the treasure. Which stump/tree is it hiding under? ![]() Then, after a nice afternoon cuppa, we found a third. ![]() Mummy isn't putting in latitude and longitude co-ordinates for this as these caches we found are scattered around. |
miapearl Posted Apr 28, 2011, 3:39 pm |
Today, we are going on the train.
![]() This is first class. ![]() Here, we are at Dinas station. When the Welsh Highland Railway was being rebuilt, Dinas was the HQ. There are work trains and carriages, and engines in need of repair. ![]() The railway meets the River Gwyrfai several times along its route. ![]() There's quite a bit of water in the river. ![]() There are fields alongside the railway, this one has horses. ![]() We are coming into Betws Garmon. Can you see the bell in the church tower? ![]() It is a long train. Can you see the steam engine at the other end? ![]() This is Cwellyn, a reservoir supplying water to parts of north Wales. ![]() At Rhyd Ddu, we had a little break and I was allowed out to see the engine. ![]() We had to wait for the train coming in the other direction to stop at Rhyd Ddu before we could continue. The train is also steam-hauled. ![]() They've got a first class carriage, but the one we're in was unveiled by the Queen in 2010 after refurbishment. ![]() The carriage is called Glaslyn, after another river this railway meets. ![]() We are off for the second half of the journey. This section was opened last year, and then not all the way to Porthmadog. ![]() There's the River Glaslyn. ![]() Here we are coming into Porthmadog. The river is the Glaslyn here too, the estuary. ![]() The river is the Glaslyn here too ![]() The Glaslyn estuary. And now, we have arrived in Porthmadog. It is time to run for the bus to take us back home before school closes for the day. |
miapearl Posted Apr 28, 2011, 8:00 pm |
![]() We are having a nice game of Settlers of Catan. |
miapearl Posted Apr 28, 2011, 8:09 pm |
Ooo, look at all these Easter Eggs and bunnies.
![]() |
miapearl Posted Apr 28, 2011, 8:37 pm |
We've come to Gullivers Kingdom in Matlock Bath.
![]() Mummy took me on the lazy river ride. ![]() Big bro went on this rollercoaster. ![]() And Mummy did go on this ride earlier. |
miapearl Posted May 15, 2011, 12:21 pm |
What is this I see before me?
![]() A box and we shall open it. ![]() A visitor, hello Sampson ![]() Welcome to Wales. |
miapearl Posted Jun 10, 2011, 8:52 pm |
Today, a package has arrived!
![]() Hello Moony and welcome. ![]() |
miapearl Posted Jun 20, 2011, 10:25 am |
We went to Grandma's for a few days over half term.
![]() It was too hot to do much, not even help Mummy, Daddy or Grandma with the weeding. |
miapearl Posted Jun 20, 2011, 11:25 am |
It was time to head back home to Wales but first, we stopped off at the Science Adventure Park, Magna.
We came here before! We started in water! ![]() A whirlpool, and a water-raising complex. ![]() Raising water, I'd better stand clear because when the cone gets full, it tips over dropping the water! ![]() A tap! ![]() Next stop fire! ![]() A four-stroke engine. The middle bits are back. In the background is a two-stroke engine. ![]() My host turns the wheel and the middle bits come forward and the outer bits go back! ![]() The fire tornado exhibit is hot! ![]() ![]() Lighting isn't good in here. ![]() Next stop was the main section where the steel was made. We allowed the newer visitors to have their photos taken with the big melt demonstration. We went up to Air, but they removed the air-hockey ![]() ![]() Final stop was Earth. There were wheelbarrows to move "rocks" to the sorters. ![]() This is a hydraulic pump and cylinder. ![]() Time flies.... The centre is closing so we'd better go now.... |
miapearl Posted Jun 20, 2011, 11:42 am |

miapearl Posted Jul 29, 2011, 3:18 pm |
Mummy took me out today!
Today is a beautiful day and we've come to the local agricultural show just outside Caernarfon. ![]() The first place we visited was the poultry tent. ![]() They had many chickens on display... ![]() This is a prize winner. ![]() They also had pets... Best pet in show - a snail! ![]() Afterwards, we check out the crafts tent. Look at these yummy sponge cakes. ![]() And more cakes... ![]() Outside, there were some old tractors. ![]() I can't reach the steering wheel. ![]() Baa! |
miapearl Posted Aug 3, 2011, 2:49 pm |
We've come to Grandma's house!
![]() There are lots of ants in the garden. This book says that ants don't like crossing chalk! ![]() There's an ant... ![]() It still is in the same section... ![]() Hmm, it has escaped. The ants we've watched seem quite happy to cross the chalk. Back to the drawing board. |

MUM!!!
I met the Neanderthals!!! ![]() On Sunday, we went to the famous Neanderthal near Mettmann. First we had to pay the parking fees (as always and everywhere in Germany) ![]() And then we went to the museum. Many years ago, they found some skeletons of Neanderthals there. The Neanderthal (short for Neanderthal man) is an extinct member of the Homo genus known from Pleistocene specimens found in Europe and parts of western and central Asia. Neanderthals are classified either as a subspecies of Homo sapiens (Homo sapiens neanderthalensis) or as a separate human species (Homo neanderthalensis). The first proto-Neanderthal traits appeared in Europe as early as 600,000–350,000 years ago. Proto-Neanderthal traits are occasionally grouped with another phenetic 'species', Homo heidelbergensis, or a migrant form, Homo rhodesiensis. |

Hi Mummyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
I savely arrived at my new host familiy in Lichtenfels. Imagine, right now there is another TV dog here, it is the cute pink dog Klaus-Bärbel[tv]. He helped me out of the envelope. Then I heard music! The bears who lives here played a welcome song for me! I think I will have a great time here. I am very glad to be inside, because it is a stormy day in Germany. Send you kisses! Your Kibblet |
Yosemite Posted Jan 7, 2012, 7:42 pm |
Dear Mummy!
This evening I was invited by hostmum and hostdad. We were in a nice restaurant. I tasted Bavarian beer. It is great! Then the appetizers came. Hostmum had goat cheese with bacon, hostdad had a mushroom soup. Both very yummie! ![]() The main dish was steak (hostdad) and gilthead (Dorade) for hostmum. I tasted both again. Both again veeeeeeeeeeeery yummie! ![]() After that a needed an espresso as digestiv. But there was even enough space for a dessert. We ordered cream brulee. Now I am so full..... Go to bed! Love you, Mummy! Your Kibblet |
Yosemite Posted Jan 11, 2012, 6:25 pm |
Hey Mummy!
Yesterday a new TV arrived! I helped to unpack him. I nuzzled and I was sure that there is some nice TV inside. It was the little Napoleon from Berlin. He had a present for each TV. We made him a very warm welcome and talked about our experiences as being a toyvoyager. Have a nice evening, my dear Mummy! Love you, Kibblet |
Yosemite Posted Jan 16, 2012, 3:55 pm |
What a evening, what a morning! ![]() Yesterday hostmum was at work the whole day and hostdad repaired the tumbler in the cellar. We talked to the plushys living here what to do. Knabber (the big mouse in the cool pink shirt) had an idea! He knew that there is a bottle of mead (honey wine) in the storageroom. We thought about to carry it to the kitchen. We had an idea! We all helped together and it worked! I rolled the bottle into the kitchen. We built a lifting block to lift the bottle on the oven. The dog Solvang tool the bottle on his back and so we could pour the mead in the pot. Ooooooooo, it tasted sooooooooooooo yummie!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() But: the day after was terrible ![]() Never ever alcohol... this week ![]() |
Yosemite Posted Jan 20, 2012, 2:59 pm |

Hey, my dear Mummy!
WInter in Germany is very cold! We had -17 centigrade this morning. Nevertheless we made a short walk to the river Main. We took photos of some winter impressions with me in the foreground ![]() In the last photo you see the river. Usually it is a river, but now only ice! I hope the spring comes soon! I don´t like temperatures like at the north pole! Kisses from Kibblet |
Yosemite Posted Feb 11, 2012, 5:23 pm |
Hey, Mummy!
Today we made sightseeing although it was a very cold day again. We went to Bamberg which is a nice town with a historic city center. It is a world heritage! We went by bus! So I fullfilled one of my lifemissions! But we saw even more! A fountain with a neptune sculpture, a big mask near the river Regnitz and the old townhall which was built in the middle of the river! How crazy! ![]() After we had so much culture we were hungry! We were in the most famous brewery of Bamberg, called "Schlenkerla". There the smoked beer is brewed. In the restaurant we ordered roasted pins with lumps and sauerkraut. I shared my serving with *-Cookie-* Very delicious! Love you, Mummy! Your Kibblet |
Yosemite Posted Feb 14, 2012, 9:04 am |
Hey, Mummy!
Do you know that I am a great cook? We made a surprise dinner for hostmum and hostdad! I stirred the roasted kingprawns while Hanna put the herbs in. We served this yummie gravy with spaghetti. Enjoy your meal, hostmum and hostdad! |
Yosemite Posted Feb 25, 2012, 1:56 pm |
Hey, Mummy!
Today was great weather! We went to town and we saw very nice primeroses! In the cafe we looked at the menu. What should we order? So much yummie things! I decided to have a strawberry cake. It was a good decision! It was so fine! On the market place hostmum showed us direction signs that show the sister cities of Lichtenfels. Lichtenfels is a sister city of a british town, the scottish Prestwick. It is 1625km away! Have a nice day, my dear mum! Hope you are fine! Your Kibblet |
Yosemite Posted Mar 10, 2012, 9:32 am |
Hey Mummy!
Yesterday evening we were at a live concert! It is part of Wavy Gravys life mission to hear live music and I was allowed to ascort him! The concert was in the historical station of Lichtenfels. A very nice and old building! The little band played oldies and especially for Wavy songs from America ![]() Of course we enjoyed a typical franconian beer, a smoked beer called Schlenkerla. Love you! Your Kibblet |

I hope you have spring, too! In Germany there is such a wonderful weather, and it´s still march! We enjoyed the day in our hosts´ garden. I love to work in the garden and so I helped with the grate. It had exactly the right size for me! ![]() When we inspected the garden we found some pretty flowers, hostmum said that they are called crocusses. After we finished our work we rested in the sun. Soooooooooooo cozy! Kiss for you Mummy ![]() Your Kibblet |
Yosemite Posted Mar 26, 2012, 4:34 pm |
Dear Mummy!
Today we made a trip by bike. Ok, we tried to go by bike, but it didn´t work well ![]() Fortunately hostdad has a big backpack and so we traveled comfortable uphill. ![]() In front of the famous rococo basilica Vierzehnheiligen we stopped. It was built by Balthasar Neumann in the 18th century. It is a famous church of pilgrimage, too. Look how big the front is, according to us TVs! Behind the church is another grand building, the brewery Trunk. I tasted original franconian dark beer. Believe it or believe it not, it tasted sooooooooooooooo yummie, ![]() Love, Kibblet |
Yosemite Posted Apr 1, 2012, 5:30 pm |
Mummy, Mummy, Mummy!
Today I fulfilled the next lifemission! It was a wonderful sunday and so we made a hiking trip to the Staffelberg. It is a real mountain and it was a hard way to get there. Look, how far away it is! We walked the whole way on foot. On top of the mountain we had a typical franconian lunch, bratwurst and sauerkraut. I was so hungry and it was sooooooo yummie! ![]() But I saw that we are not exactly on the top of the mountain. To fulfill my lifemission completely I wanted to go into the top of the top of the mountain. YEAH! What a great feeling! What a little dog as me can do! I am soooo proud of me! Love you! Your Kibblet |

Hello Mummy, Sorry I didn't write for so long but as you will see we had quite the week! The same day I arrived I wasn't even able to have any pictures taken in Granada because we immediatly departed. Here I am in the Madrid Metro: ![]() Sir James says that our hosts are always traveling like that but Capote says it's only happened the time Sir James arrived. Here I am with them sharing a seat in the subway ![]() And then waiting for our plane in the Barajas Airport, I really liked how colorful it is: ![]() We flew out with Spain's main airline Iberia, here's the airplane! ![]() When we arrived at Munich we took the train into the city: ![]() and went out for a walk right away, the first pretty building we found was Sankt Paul: ![]() And we had the luck that exactly these days was the Spring Festival in Munich, so our host went to have a little drink: ![]() And then we rode the Ferris Wheel, we could see many buildings from up there: ![]() It was a very nice and festive atmosphere, we also had to help our host a little since we, unlike him, had all been in Germany before: ![]() While in Munich we also visited the palace of Nymphemburg, which is very big and fancy: ![]() it has many pretty and identical yellow houses in front: ![]() We saw many famous buildings from a tour bus including the Olympic Arena, the O2 tower: ![]() The television tower and the BMW factory: ![]() Here we are all in front of the Siegestor arch: ![]() We also went for a walk in the English Garden and the nearby Hofgarten, here's the Bavarian State Chancellery. ![]() We also saw the moving figures of the Rathaus-Glockenspiel. It was very pretty. ![]() After having a really nice trip it was finally time to go to our hosts' home in Granada. Here we are waiting at the Munich airport, as you can see we were very tired and so was our host. ![]() We also took the train in Madrid: ![]() I love taking so many different modes of transportation. |

Hello Mummy!,
Sorry I haven't written in a while, my hosts have been very busy, but they have treated me very well and I'm very happy now in Granada. I've been a good dog and haven't insisted too much on writing, so I was very happy when they told me that today we'd finally make a post. My hosts told me I would finally meet another "Original Dog"! ![]() But I must confess I was a bit disappointed ![]() Then I heard some laughter and I saw another one: ![]() He's an Original Dog just like me, although a bit smaller, but we're very similar! Then along with him came four more! ![]() ![]() And I couldn't believe it, but after that a mob of Original Dogs came out and carried me: ![]() it was so much fun! we played for a long while ![]() Here we are trying to get together for a group picture, it was very difficult since we were 25 original dogs in total: ![]() We finally assembled in a more orderly fashion: ![]() And in the end we got around in a circled and talked for hours. ![]() They're really nice dogs, and it's nice to have met so many at once!. They were very interested in my travels and some of them were thinking of joining the ToyVoyager community. Finally, I know I haven't shown you pictures of Granada, and I don't have any yet, but I wanted to show you that last weekend we had the last snowfall of the year in the Sierra Nevada mountain range which is visible from my hosts' home: ![]() There I am with Alberto and Sir James. I hope I'll be able to see a bit of the city soon. Alberto says it's very pretty, Sir James hasn't visited downtown either, so we're both very eager. |

Today we went out for a bike ride. One of our hosts had to run some errands so we went along to see a bit of the city. It wasn't much but we still had a lot of fun.
We passed by a big park named after a famous spanish poet, the Federico Garcia Lorca. It was very pretty, and had many flowers: ![]() (scroll to the right to see the full picture) But our host was in such a hurry that he took the panoramic image too fast and I was looking down and had my nose cut off. Poor Sir James also had his ear blurred, but he's ok. We also passed by the Museum of Science. It looks pretty neat from outside, I hope to go in soon. ![]() Here I am with Sir James and Capote rolling a big marble ball that weighs one ton! :O ![]() We felt very strong, but it's easier because the ball is floating on water. And here's the biggest river that crosses Granada, it's called the Genil: ![]() ![]() It was very nice to go out, I hope to see more of the city soon. In the mean time we'll keep having fun indoors. Love, Kibblet. |

Hello Mommy,
We've been having a very good time. This week was Corpus Christi and it's when the main fair of Granada takes place. So we went to the "Recinto Ferial", here I am with [http://www.toyvoyagers.com/index.php?a=topic&t=102057] Capote [/url] and Sir James in the main entrance: ![]() Right inside there were many shops with many other fun things: ![]() We had lunch there with some friends and then danced a long time, it was so much fun!, too bad we didn't take many more pictures. There were a lot of townspeople from the province that came in their horses and carriages all dressed up. We had a lot of fun that lasted until the evening. We passed by the central square of Granada, called the Bib-Rambla. Capote says this dragon tried to eat him before: ![]() But the squared looked very different this time with so many lights and so many people. Many flamenco schools were performing there as well. Before finally going home we stopped by a very good ice cream store: ![]() They had many flavors and the display was fun to look at: ![]() Here I am in from of the Town Hall. It was also specially decorated because of the fair: ![]() Here I am on the flowers, they were nice and soft ![]() ![]() good thing I don't weigh much: Many of the buildings looked ancient but well mantained. And there were many decorations thanks to the festivities: ![]() ![]() Here's the main post office: ![]() The city named after the pomegranate fruit, so you can find drawings of the fruit in the city (and even in the Spanish Coat of Arms), so here you can see it in flowers by a fountain called the fountain of the battles: ![]() I had a lot of fun today... it was very nice to see the town on a holiday. Love, Kibblet |

Hello mommy,
Today we started a surprise trip, here I am with Capote and Sir James in the Málaga Airport: ![]() we took a very economic airline, it was funny how bright the colors were inside the plane, they also had lotto on board and when we landed they played a loud fanfare sound: ![]() When we got to Budapest we took the train, it was very old and worn out, but at least it seemed clean: ![]() Here I am with the Parliament building from the other side of the Danube river, it's very big and pretty: ![]() We then walked to the center of the eastern side of the city, they used to be two cities divided by the river, Buda and Pest, when they joined the two by the bridge they just joined the two names, so this part is in Pest. Here I am in front of a mall and the Hard Rock Cafe: ![]() They had a cultural act were people from very different places around the World showed their folkloric dances: ![]() In that same square there was a nice fountain, here I am with my friends: ![]() We continued walking until we got so tired we had to stop for a rest in the grass in front of the main opera house: ![]() We were walking by the Danube when we saw a statue of a girl with a dog that we liked, Capote and I took a photo with it: ![]() Then we walked through the famous Chain Bridge to Buda: ![]() Then we went to the Castle Hill, here I am in front of Mathias Church ![]() And the Fishersman's Bastion, can you find me?: ![]() Here we are in a model of both those buildings: ![]() Then we went down to a very very very scary place called Labirintus, it was a lot of underground caves and it was very dark, luckily there was a map and we were able to get out: ![]() That's it for Budapest, here we are leaving in the train: ![]() Love, Kibblet |
JunCTionS Posted Jul 4, 2012, 10:08 am |
So we went by train to Balatonalmádi, a really small town by Balaton lake:
![]() Here I am in the train station: ![]() Then we walked to the lake and it was really pretty, and we saw some ducks and swans: ![]() It was a really nice place, quiet and peaceful, here's the view from our window were we watched many trains go by and the boats in the lake to the left: ![]() I liked Balatonalmádi although it was so full of mosquitos. Love, Kibblet |
JunCTionS Posted Jul 4, 2012, 9:32 pm |
After Balatonalmádi, we went back to Budapest and took a plane to Barcelona, here's me in the plane, I love flying:
![]() In Barcelona we visited the famous Gaudi's church, "La Sagrada Familia": ![]() It was amazing, with lots of pretty details, it's still in construction since 1882!, I hope to see it finished some day. Then we took a walk by the beach: ![]() Here's me with my friends having a great time: ![]() Love, Kibblet |
JunCTionS Posted Jul 5, 2012, 10:34 pm |
In Barcelona we boarded a cruise in which we will sail several days in the Mediterranean, we're very excited, it's such a big ship!.
Here you can see a view of the port: ![]() I was relaxing a little bit when I smelled something fishy, at first I didn't worry because were at sea: ![]() But then I turned around and saw an Original Cat!: ![]() I started barking at him and he kept running and running: ![]() He got away so I was able to spend some time relaxing with my friends! ![]() But then I saw him again: ![]() Also when we were going through the middle of the islands of Sardinia: ![]() And Corsica: ![]() I got exhausted after chasing the cat through the ship as he's really fast!, I'll go to sleep now, but hopefully tomorrow I'll catch him!. Ahoy, Kibblet |
JunCTionS Posted Jul 5, 2012, 11:16 pm |
Bark! Bark! Today we were at some place with a big volcano, and I got to chase the cat all the way to the top. Well, not exactly, first we took the train:
![]() Then we took a huge all-terrain bus that says it went up the Vesuvius, so I imagine that's the name of the volcano. But I didn't pay too much attention because I had lost the trail of the cat!: ![]() Here you can see the crater of the volcano, which is still active! ![]() And here's me almost catching the cat!: ![]() After going down, we visited the ruins of Pompeii, this city was destroyed by the volcano's eruption more than 19 centuries ago but the ruins were only discovered recently so it's been very well preserved. The place was really big and there was a lot of sun, I was a very hot dog!. It was very interesting to see such a big city from so long ago. Many of the things and people were conserved exactly how they were when the volcano erupted. Here's us in one of the temples, and as you can see that cat kept sneaking behind my back!, Grrrrr: ![]() It was a very fun day, but in the end we had to rush to the train or the ship would leave us, so we could only see Naples as we walked by, and I had to stop looking for the cat. This is from when we were waiting for the train: ![]() I hope I'll catch the cat tomorrow, Love, Kibblet. |
JunCTionS Posted Jul 6, 2012, 7:53 pm |
Bon giorno!
Today we went to Rome, the first thing we visited was the Coliseum, of course: ![]() Next thing we visited was the Fontana di Trevi, the tour guide was in such a hurry that we didn't take any pictures. I hope you believe me. But I did throw a coin backwards into the fountain so I'll be coming back some day! We walked really fast and saw many historical buildings and learned a lot of the very long history of Rome.We stopped for a little in Piazza Navona: ![]() I had almost forgotten something... but when we were about to take a group picture, I saw that cat again!: ![]() I kept chasing him throughout Rome and even crossed international borders into the Vatican, but even there I couldn't catch up to him: ![]() I was asked to stop running when I chased him into Saint Peter's Basilica, so one more day I lost his trail... maybe tomorrow... Arrivederci, Kibblet |
JunCTionS Posted Jul 18, 2012, 10:44 pm |
Hello mommy,
While I was sleeping, very tired from all the chasing, Sir James found the cat and talked a bit with him. He says the cat is called Peluso, but when I called him while chasing him in front of Florence's Cathedral he didn't stop!. ![]() He did act surprised in front of this statue but I didn't call his name then... sadly he didn't slow down enough for me to catch him. ![]() I chased the cat all the way to another city and even up this crooked tower: ![]() but then he just slid down the other side... wow, what a chase! this cat is a real good match for my chasing abilities. Maybe tomorrow... Love, Kibblet |
JunCTionS Posted Jul 19, 2012, 2:02 am |
Hello mom,
Another day, another country... sadly while I slept I lost track of Peluso... but I have a feeling he must be nearby... ![]() Anyways, here's me overlooking the Principality of Monaco ![]() And here I am with my friends Sir James and Capote in front of the Castle: ![]() There we saw the change of the guards, it was very fun and ceremonial. I kept having the strange feeling that today I was the one being followed... ![]() Here's the Marina: ![]() And the Justice Palace: ![]() And the famous casino of Monte Carlo! ![]() And just when I was thinking that the very famous Monano Formula-1 race track would be a great place for a chase, guess who I found?: ![]() Yes, Peluso, it was the fastest chase I've ever been in! We went so fast that in no time we were at the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival!: ![]() But once again, we had to go back to the ship, so we took a small emergency boat. ![]() Once back on the ship I got really close to catching Peluso... ![]() Sir James mentioned he's a nice cat... we'll see that tomorrow... I bet tomorrow I'll finally catch him! Love, Kibblet |
JunCTionS Posted Jul 19, 2012, 10:49 pm |
Hello mommy,
Today we stopped in Marseille, but we stayed on board to relax as it was our last day on the ship. But just as I was relaxing looking at the view of Marseille from the port, Peluso started chasing me!: ![]() I was confused, but Capote and Sir James had told me he was a nice cat, so I guess it was a good moment to end the chase... look I have a new friend: ![]() Love, Kibblet |
JunCTionS Posted Jul 21, 2012, 9:46 pm |
Hello Mommy!
We had a quick stop in Granada where all my friends there prepared a really nice farewell!: ![]() I will really miss them a lot, look, even Peluso participated in the good bye!. From there we took a train-hotel to Valencia: ![]() Sir James, Capote and I had a lot of fun on the train ![]() The train station in Valencia was very pretty and had a very classic look to it: ![]() The city of Valencia has an amazing area called "The City of Arts and Science" that has several buildings that look amazingly futuristic and alien: ![]() ![]() I just couldn't believe how different all the buildings were, here you can see a suspension bridge and an opera house: ![]() After a quick bus ride we went to a nearby beach: ![]() we had so much fun! After that we went to the city center, here I am in front of the City Hall: ![]() and this is inside the main post office of Valencia: ![]() It is very beautiful but I can't help but feel a little bit sad. My hosts said they would miss me a lot too and will look forward to seeing me travel around the World. ![]() So for now it's goodbye. ![]() Love, Kibblet. |
