Here is Ivor enjoying his meal at the Indian. He has applied for a job as a mechanic, but still hasn't started work at the garage because there is a problem with his references but hopefully this will soon be sorted out....

Made it as far as Mersea Island for an Easter Egg hunt, but then came back to Norwich to eat noodles that look like worms in Wagamama.  Have also been offered the possibility of a trip to Norway in the next few weeks, but still not much chance of completing any missions for a while.  Ho Hum.

Hi, I hitched a ride to Melbourne and got myself some new surf gear to wear.
Unfortunately no one told me that it's Autumn here, so I'm not really dressed for it, but at least I am really and truly on my travels now.

Nowhere nearer to completing any missions, but who knows...

Today I went to see an Australian Rules Footie game.  I didn't understand what was happening, but I had Pie and Beer which helped.

On my way to Perth, hope they have pies on the plane. Yum!

Today I have had a cultural day in Great Yarmouth and visited 3 museums with my fantastic new Museums Pass! After tiring out my little legs I decided to go down to the seafront and devour the catch of the day....herring, this is now my favourite food!

Went on a trip to London at the weekend.  Saw the London Eye and Tower Bridge, but more importantly, I had a burger and a smoothie in Girraffe.  Hoping for a trip further afield soon, but still working on it.

Ps just remembered to tick off 'go to a football match' - Aussie rules does count doesn't it?

Been in Norway for two weeks and I have had 6 BBQ's.  Outstanding!  To top it off I managed to visit the World Beach Volly Ball Tour which had set up shop in Stavanger Harbour.

Well I'm off on my travels again - who knows where this time?!

Wow it's a long way down! I'm in my hotel room on the 21st floor of a very, very, very tall building.  I think I should consult a map before I venture out.

They have taken me to Prague Castle as I thought I might feel at home there (having lived in Norwich Castle for a while).  It's very different from what I'm used too and it's very hot; all this walking is making me thirsty.

Beer at last! (And a nice view of the Charles Bridge.)

Had another lovely day wandering around Prague. Just checking the time on the Astrological Clock; I want to make sure I have time for a snooze back at the hotel before they take me out again tonight.

I'm quite excited as they have taken me to see Don Giovanni at the opera house where it premiered and I've never been to an opera before.  It is really, really hot in here; I hope I can get an ice cream in the interval.

Well I've been a bit busy and not updated my travelogue for ages - still, better late than never.

Last month I met Travel Ted, another toyvoyager and he came to stay with me for the weekend.  It was a lot of fun and we've decided to go travelling together some time soon.

First we met up and went to the Lebanese restaurant for my favourite food.  Travel Ted liked it too, but not quite as much as I did.  He did think I might have had a bit too much fun when I drank the last of the wine and fell asleep in the bread basket.

I felt a bit unwell by the time we got home, but TT was really kind and said he'd look after me.  We went to bed and he read me a bedtime story.  I thought it was a bit scary, but TT likes horror films, so he didn't think so.

The next day we had a game of dominoes while Nicky and Deborah got ready to go out (I let Travel Ted win as he'd been so nice to me).  It was raining a lot so we decided to go to the Bridewell which is a nice museum in Norwich.  TT took a picture of me while I talked to the cardboard man, then we went in to see the exhibits.

We tried to spin a new friend from the basket of wool, but it took too long so we went off to find something else to do.

I had a game of marbles in the old toys section and then we met a really old toyvoyager who had been on his travels since WWII in an evacuees suitcase.

At the end of the day TT and Deborah had to go and catch a train home, I was really sad to see them go and hope that we'll meet up again soon.

Well I'm off again on my travels.  They said I was going to somewhere that sounded like 'Has to buy Jam', that can't be right can it?  Anyway, I have to drink all this water before I get on the plane as I'm not allowed to take it in my hand luggage.  Better get on.

Back in Norfolk again now. It has been very wet and cold here, so as I couldn't go out, I picked up an old book I found lying around. It is about something called a Mini. I asked my friend what a Mini was and she took me to the garage and there was this lovely little car. I sneaked back after she had gone to bed to see if I could drive it, i've seen them driving before, it doesn't look too hard, with a bit more practise I reckon I could take myself off somewhere...but where???

Tania has passed me back to Nicky again, but I really think it's time I planned my own Mini Adventure.  Maybe I can get my friend Travel Ted to come with me?

Turns out Nicky knows nothing about Minis at all, but she did give me this instructional DVD to watch.

Travel Ted and I have managed to hitch a ride to the airport.  TT is so nervous he's been sick, but I think what he really needs is a fry-up at the Weatherspoons.  That will settle his stomach.

Pie at last.

Yum, definitely like spaghetti even if it does look like worms.  Would be better with jam though.

Now for my mini adventure, this shouldn't be too hard, I've seen it on that documentary.

Travel Ted suggested a trip out of town.  He'd heard that there was a truffle festival at Alba so we thought we'd go.  We were both a bit dissapointed when we discovered that truffles were actually very expensive, moldy old bits of fungus and not chocolate after all, but the train journey was fun and there were lots of towers to look at.

Southwold Pier is great fun.  I went in a machine to decide whether I was 'art' or not (but the machine broke so I may never know).

I also liked the beach huts, although I was a bit confused about them being on land as according to the Bathoscope they are occupied by fish who have to watch out for gazumping sharks.

I'm all ready for trick or treating in my super hero costume.  Might go to a party later.

Met up with my friend Lobster for halloween treats and a glass of wine.  No tricks though.

Stopped for a spot of Lunch on my way to Ecuador.  24hours in a plane is no fun for a small bear.

2800m Altitude, I didn't think that bears could get altitude sickness.

I am surrounded by volcanos, hopefully they will stay quiet while I am here.

Home Finally.  After three weeks at 3000m you would have thought I would have plenty of energy, but no, all I want to do is sleep.

After a long flight stowing away in Nicky’s lumpy hand luggage, I really need some fresh air, so I’m off to see the sea lions at Pier 39.  Honky, the sea lion told me to take a boat trip around the bay to see the sights.

Alcatraz looks a bit scary.  I don’t think I’ll stop off there.

That is one ginormous seagull – scarier than Alcatraz.  I met two nice American ladies on the boat, who promised to look up my travels on the website.

Off on a bus now to the Golden Gate Bridge (all these different modes of transport – Travel Ted will be really jealous).

Another long journey, by bus this time, hoping to see some big bears.  Lots of snow (in California?!) so they are probably all in bed asleep, will have to console myself with a bear on a badge instead.

Viva Las Vegas

I’m off to the slots to lose my life savings (about £2.50).  Staying at the Bellagio (quite bear friendly) but no sign of George Clooney and his gang trying to rob the place again – maybe I could be in ‘Ocean’s 14’.

The strip is very pretty, but I’m a bit scared of all the traffic.

Another aeroplane trip; a really small one this time and I feel really bear sick.  When we get off, we have to get on a helicopter and fly around over the Canyon.  I’m quite excited, but I think I should take a sick bag with me.

Yet another flight, but a good view of the Hoover Dam.  I’m told It’s made out of old vacuum cleaner parts.

After all the excitement of Las Vegas, I decided a nice relaxing trip to Malta would be nice.

The harbour is very pretty.  I’m getting quite experienced in these boat trips.

Now that is more like it.  A Martini and an evening in a piano bar.  Just the thing.  My boring friends are playing Scrabble, they just don’t know how to enjoy themselves.

Travel Ted came to visit today, I was quite excited and it was a good excuse to go out for dinner.  We went to a very nice vegetarian restaurant as TT was bringing his new friend Nuada with him and no-one was sure what he ate; but we all thought veggies were a safe bet.

Nuada seems like a very nice moose, but TT was busy showing him the sights, so they couldn't stop long.  Bit of a shame really as Nuada told me that one of his missions is to visit a castle and I live in one.  Maybe he'll come back and visit again soon.
