After a 3 day trek on the South Island I am sitting in the airport waiting for a flight to Australia and will be continuing my journey there. |

Arrived in Sydney and will be taking a ferry ride across Sydney Harbour to Manly later on today - I am going to be released back into the wild there! |

Found resting on parkbench at fairlight beach by young family. Spent rest of afternoon with family beachcombing for shells, rocks and starfish.
Next day visited St Mary's school in Manly and took part in Yr 3 Show and Tell. Went sailing on beautiful Sydney Harbour with the mother in a Soling in event called Women's Challenge. Participated in Manly Bombers AFL football training - had a wonderful time and nearly joined up for good. Made new friend called Bomber Ted - favourite teddy of No 3 boy in family; we have had a lovely time but now time to move on. Little girl in family very sad to see me go. Have made new friend and am off overseas again. |

Arrived back in Great Britain and taken by my Australian friends for a delicious sushi meal in London. I LOVE sushi!
After 4 plates of tuna sashimi, a raw carrot juice, 17 california rolls, 2 chicken teryaki and a small salad, my Australian friends decided to leave so i sat and waited at the bar...........and was found 5 minutes later by Richard and Katy. They wanted to take me home but i was still feeling a little hungry, so they took me to the Chinese restaurant three doors away from the sushi place. We had crispy duck and pancakes - what a treat! walking home, we passed a McDonalds - that brought back memories of an old friend of mine who used to love the stuff - couldn't get enough of it. now what was his name....? off on more travels with Richard now. |

Bertie just knocked at our door and has come to stay here in London. I'm going to France tomorrow so I'll help him pack a
bag tonight then onto Eurostar tomorrow. He says hi to Josy! |

we made it to fontainbleau near Paris. we vistied the chateau and then had yummy ice creams. then we went shopping and Bertie got a bit bored but soon cheered up when we had a crepe. then we had our hair trimmed. Back to London soon. |

Bertie left me last night in the rainforest cafe and hopefully has found a friend. It was sad to say goodbye but it was a lovely place and Bertie loved all the sounds and animals... |
