Coquimbo, Chile - 24th January 2012

Hi!

We did more touristing today and went to the city next to La Serena called Coquimbo!

And then we went up to the Third Millenium Cross

There was a beautiful view from up there!

As you can see the surroundings are quite desertic!

Below the Cross there was a religious museus and I saw Michelangelo's La Pietà!

Later we went to a small fortress near the port area And the first thing I saw was this cactus with a nice yellow flower!

It was quite nice! I can imagine that big cannon being used against the pirates! :stare:

That white rock behind me was full of pelicans, cormorants and other noisy birds

Then we went back to La Serena, very very tired and with some slight sun burns :stare: :stare:
