Berlin, Germany - 7th November 2011

By: MA_17

Hello Mummy!

Today I visited a little bit of Berlin. It was so cold outside! Brrrr.
For the first picture you need lots of imaginations! The tall buildings behind me, if you can see them, belong to the Potsdamer Place. Maybe I'll go there closer this week. I heard you can find lots of snow there!

I walked through the famous Brandenburg Gate. It is one of the most well-known landmarks of Berlin and Germany.

Another famous landmark of Berlin is the television tower near Alexanderplatz. It was constructed between 1965 and 1969 and with its height of 368 meters, it is the tallest structure in Germany. There is a visitor platform and a revolving restaurant in the middle of the sphere. The tower is part of the World Federation of Great Towers (WFGT).

From City East I used the bus to go to City West. I stopped at KaDeWe shopping center. It is the most famous department store of Berlin and the largest department store on the European continent, famous above all for its gourmet food department on the sixth floor.

Because it was so cold outside, I went into the KaDeWe to find some warm clothes for me!
First I tried a bathing suit, but I think I shouldn't wear something like this! I'm a male raccoon and it's also to cold outside. So I tried a sweater. There was a scarf included! And finally I found some pants. I like them. There was an adapted jacket, too. With this clothes I look like a Bavarian raccoon. I wanted to buy all that stuff, but at the cash point I noticed that I didn't have money in my pocket. :stare: So I left without any clothes.

In the afternoon I went to my hosts work, again. Today I wasn't allowed to help so I decided to do a lovely greeting card for you with today's pictures. I hope you like it!
