Travelog post for: Willy Olson

Dear Mum

Today I'd like to tell you how I spent the day at home with nuriayasmin and the other TV's.

I had breakfast with Rendolph, not very healthy but very tasty: a piece of cake which was left over from yesterday and a cup of hot chocolate.



Then we TV's decided to learn some bits of a foreign language which might be helpful while travelling around the world. Fortunately nuriayasmin is quite a language nerd and gave us all her textbooks and grammars for Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Norwegian, Czech, Slovak, Russian and Japanese.



It probably won't surprise you that I decided to learn some Norwegian, it's the land of elks after all. So here are some useful phrases:
I'm called Willy Olson: Jeg heter Willy Olson
I like travelling: Jeg liker å reise
How are you? Hvordan har du det?
I'm pretty fine. Jeg har det bare brå.
I'm German. Jeg er tysk.
I'm an elk: Jeg er en elg.



Then I wanted to talk to Sammy the cat. He was asleep like always and I woke him up. He looked quite surprised and then started to clean his paws - cats do that when they're embarrassed :-).







I helped with some household tasks and took the clean clothes out of the washing-machine.



Afterwards I went outside on the balcony. It's very cold today and everything looks grey. I guess it was no bad idea to spend the day at home.



For lunch I had Chinese noodles and orange juice.



In the afternoon we TV's gathered around the Swedish cookies nuriayasmin had bought for us and told each other about our journeys and dreams about journeys to come. I also drank a big cup of hot tea.





Then we helped nuriayasmin to write some postcrossing cards. Each TV was allowed to write one card. Mine went to Singapore.



Unfortunately there was still some ironing to do which was really the least enjoyable task today.



Last not least I sat down in front of the laptop and wrote my travelog update.
