Port of Kobe, Japan - 30th October 2011

By: hanachan

Hi Vi,
We are back to Kobe. (hanachan loves this city) Unfortunately it rains.
First we visited Ikuta Shrine and headed for the harbor area.
The 1995 Great Hanshin earthquake also destroyed the Kobe port and much of the facilities. At the Memorial Park visitors can view the scars of the Earthquake. And it said that Kobe was one of the world's busiest ports before the earthquake, but despite the rebuilding, it has not regained its former status as Japan's principal shipping port yet.
Vi, I miss you. So I will come home before my next trip.
See you soon,
dotdog
