Travelog post for: Oki Donkey

This morning I have been to Vlissingen. Vlissingen is a bigger city in Zeeland and is located by the North Sea and Western Scheldt. Especially during Golden Age, the city was very important. Michiel de Ruyter, one of the most famous admirals in Dutch history, was born in Vlissingen.

I arrived at the promenade, the houses here are very expensive but the views are amazing!



Here are some more of the houses along the promenade. Too bad it's raining, in Summer the beach is full of people.


The tower in the background is called 'Sardijntoren', this tower can also be seen on a stamp (click here to see the sheet).
