Beckie really likes Lush, so we had to visit.  I'm not a skin cell, so I don't care much for soap.



This boutique is off Rue St Laurent, which is known for its shopping



In true Vancouverite fashion, Beckie had to take a picture of me here



This is the health and social services building in the Latin Quarter



Then we walked along Rue St Dennis













And we arrived at the Basilique de Notre Dame de Montreal, named after the one in Paris, of course.



The original church here was built for the Roman Catholic Sulpician Order in 1672, but by 1824 the congregation had outgrown the church and Notre Dame was built in its place, in the Gothic Revival style.  At the time it was the largest church in North America.
