Hi Mum,

Today we had a work trip with Sue here to Castlemaine - once work was finished we had a little look around

on the road
here I am at a lookout above the town

here is a monument to two explorers, Burke and Wills who tried to find a route from the south to the north of Australia

Next we had a look at an old gold mining area - there are lots around here - the miners used to use hoses to wash the gold out of the rock face




Yucky water huh!!
We had a little walk in the maze! But we didn't get lost!
