Brugge, Belgium - 21st May 2012

By: Tom+Jerry

Mum, look!

I visited Brugge together with hostmum, -dad, -grandma and -grandpa. And of course my buddies - TezTez and Mr Pumba.

First, we visited the "Begijnhof". A béguinage (French) or begijnhof (Dutch) is a collection of small buildings used by Beguines. These were various lay sisterhoods of the Roman Catholic Church, founded in the 13th century in the Low Countries, comprising religious women who sought to serve God without retiring from the world.

Afterwards we found a nice canal with typical buildings.

And then I tried my first Irish Coffee - wow! YUMMY!!!  ;)

The last pics show us on the market place in the heart of Brugge.
