Hi Mummy,
today another ToyVoyager arrived: Tilda from Australia.

After opening the envelope we saw gigantic feet first.Pip thought it had to be a bunny. But it wasn't a bunny. Tilda is a kangaroo.







In the afternoon we took to the muncipal park. The weather was not good, it was very warm and muggy.

We went to an old district of Remscheid then, to Hasten. Here you can see typical houses covered with schist.



This is the museum of local history, a beautiful patrician villa built in 1779 A.D. Katja promised to visit the museum if the weather should stay bad.



In another little park a pillar is built with the crest of the town and the names of the partner towns engraved. Remscheid has partner towns in France (Quimper), England (Wansbeck), the Czech Republik (Presov) and in Saxonia (Pirna), one of the states in the former German Democratic Republik.



Today I won't have a beer. Katja is afraid that I might come to a bad end as an alcohol addict. What a pity, there are still a few Pilsner and Bavarian beers in the fridge. Katja told me that I will have a lot of Bavarian beer next week. I don't know what this means, but we'll see.
