Hi,

Today I had the chance to explore the town a bit . Here I am heading down towards the centre.




While here I was in the shopping area.




A bit further on I reached the Cathedral square, with the S.Vigilio Cathedral, the Neptune’s fountain and a lot of old nice buildings .






Then I visited a big square lined by the town Middle Age walls.



Keeping walking I reached the bank of a small river. At the top of the hill in the background there is a big building that a long time ago used to be an hospital treating mainly people affected by tuberculosis. Now it is the Engineering Faculty. According to smaug the refurbishment and all the new architectural “features” created inside the building introduced so many hazards that coming out uninjured and in good health is now almost as unlikely as it was back in the hospital days  .



This is another big building, at the foot at the hill in the previous photo, that used to be abandoned and is now a high school.



Before going back home I went to a place that Sigfrido told me is a mandatory stop for all his guests in town.
I had to go at the up those stairs to the church entrance to enjoy the view.



On the left of the stairs there are the stations where the via crucis stops on Good Friday.



I needed some rest too .




Once I reached the top I stopped with Sigfrido to enjoy the view over the valley....and the sun, so nice  .
