Hello! I made it to the USA and Michigan!
It was a cold day, but the toys already here decide to come out and meet me right out of the mailbox! 
Mel was very excited by my candy, she loves that kind, and everyone thought that my postcard, with my own photo on it, was the neatest thing ever! 
Einstein, Batty, Willy W and Alex_Lion all want their own postcards now.
Willy and I had so much to talk about, since I had just come from his home! He showed me around the front of the yard. Look, there are spring bulbs growing already! In February! This is very very odd for Michigan. Mel worries that snow will come late and kill them and there will be no spring flowers, but we will have to wait and see.
Willy W was excited to read my postcard, once we got back into the warm house. He gets to go home! I will miss getting to know him better, but he was very happy to hear from his mum that she wants him back soon!
Mel had declared today "Catch up on postcrossing day" before I even arrived, so we helped! She had two cards to register for herself, and one for Madison. I haven't met the kids yet, maybe tomorrow.
Then we helped Mel pick out cards to send to 5 other people. I picked one of the Canadian Mountains! I am still going there someday, right? Then we watched Ghost Hunters on TV while Mel wrote notes on the cards. In this episode they heard a little girl ghost say that she liked toys! I would be scared, but if she likes toys, she wouldn't hurt them.
Then Mel helped us make a salmon cheese spread, and we got to eat it with crackers. Yum! It was a good lunch. Now we are enjoying time to relax and chat and get to know each other! You will hopefully hear from me soon!
