I'm sorry if this topic has been covered already. But I've just got my ID and there were some recommendations, including TV's size and weight. Is it a recommendation or is it an obligation? Should it really be not less than 20 cm. and lighter than 150 gr? Give me some advice about it please!

It really doesn't matter, BUT the tv has to be send by mail. Too big and too heavy can't be send by mail. For Germany f.ex. the limit for "envelope to abroad" is 500g (3,45€), bigger ones costs the double price and more! :(
I just can say for myself that I just host tvs up to 15cm. I don't like to host bigger ones, except I know the owner in person. But then my limit is also 20cm!
So for me: the smaller the better. ;)

Like MA_17 already wrote, a TV should neither be too big nor too small. It's extremely difficult to take good photos of a tiny TVs when also the surroundings should be visible. Extremely small TVs also tend to disappear in handbags or the host could lose it without recognizing it.

For me it is also important that a TV is able to sit or stand alone, without being held by the host. Than you can place it on walls, trees, cars e.g. to take photos.

Please consider that hosts often are carrying around more than one TV, sometimes three or even more, so even a few TVs should fit into a regular handbag. Of course everyone has its own opinion about that, but I'll show an  example for what I consider as "too big":

This sheep in the middle, the other TVs are what I call perfect.

Sean is perfect^^ Thanx olgamaus ;)

I really like the toys with a size of 10cm. If they aren't able to stand alone, you have to make them stand alone ;)

You are not bound to send the TVs with registered mail. Some mentors and hosts are sending them with registered mail, others not. To keep the costs low, I usually don't send the TVs with registered mail.

Any postal item can get lost, some people are just feeling better when they can confirm that they have sent a TV to another person.
