Hi, today's my mom's birthday, not mine. This morning my mom looked out the window and saw Sunny's, my rabbit, body laying in the middle of the garden. Jasmina, my other rabbit, lay right next to him. He was missing his head. After school my mom told me to sit on the couch. So I did, and she told me that Sunny was dead. We got him when he was 8 weeks old, and a last week my mom and I took him to the vet cause we thought that he was attacked by a cat, (but he wasn't). He actually plucked out his fur to scratch his bottom, and the skin on bunny bottoms is very thin, and he probably scraped his bottom on something and screamed because it hurt so much. We had to give him baths every day, and he was fine again, but this morning she found him dead. I have big tests going on at school right now, so my mom didn't tell me this morning. My neighbor just came over 5 minutes ago, and he found his head behind our hedges. He is now wrapped up in a towel, waiting to be buried. He was just recovering from last week, and now he's dead. We don't know what killed him, and on my mom's birthday last year my aunt's father died. I just wanted to tell someone to feel better. I am crying right now as I am writing this, and the keyboard is blurry.
Sunny, mom and I will always love you. We will be with you someday, and I am glad that you lived a good life. I'm sorry that you didn't die peacefully, mom and I should just have kept you in the house. We love you, Sunny Bunny, I hope you know that. We will never forget you,

Ohhhh, I feel sorry for you. It's terrible to loose a friend no matter if it is a human or an animal 
I'm sure Sunny still loves you and looks down to you right now from the rabbit paradise.

I'm really sorry for you. How old was Sunny? It really sounds as if he had been attacked by an animal - or a very stupid human being. Wasn't he in a cage? Our rabbit Lola died in February, she was sick. Well, now I've got a ToyVoyager called Lola Rabbit who will always remind me of Lola.

Sunny was 3, I think. Sunny and Jasmina live in my garden, and they can choose if they want to go in their cage or not. They hate being in a cage, even a 2 story one.

Thanks. He was a great bunny, and I got a new rabbit last week from an animal shelter in Wiesbaden. His name is Shadow and he's really cute, and the first few days Jasmina was chasing, scratching, and biting him, but now they're friends. Sunny is still buried in my garden, and he'll always be with us.
