Hi Everyone,
We are trying to ensure that the Trails run smoothly, and to prevent the organisers of the Trail getting swamped by the amount of work they involve. We also aim to ensure that everyone who sends their ToyVoyager on a Trail can be as sure as possible that their ToyVoyager will enjoy a safe adventure, and return to them at the end of it.
With this in mind, we reserve the right to 'take back' the administration of any Trail should the Trail organiser no longer appear to be an active member of the site.
Running a Trail or hosting on a Trail is a big undertaking and requires commitment. It carries responsibility because you have offered to look after someone else's ToyVoyager, and they, in good faith, have accepted your offer. Hosting will also cost you money in terms of postage, and you also need to be prepared to do regular updates, and keep in touch with the Trail organiser on a regular basis. We therefore would ask new members to consider hosting ToyVoyagers on an individual basis before committing to being a Host on a Trail.
Saying this, hosting is great fun, and you'd be amazed at how differently you see your home town when you are trying to show it to someone else through a ToyVoyager's eyes! We just ask that you keep in mind that each ToyVoyager does belong to someone else on the site, and there is an expectation that you will look after it, and update its Travelog, before passing it on safely to the next person on its travel itinerary.
Kind Regards
Isobel and Neil

I don't think, it is a problem to start such a trail as long the travels are safe. I know, that sending around South America can be more a risk and it might take much longer to send a tv from one place to another. If you count that it, it should be no problem to start a South American Trail.
I will send you a pm too.
Greetings, Petra

Something I've been thinking about is an American trail, one that included at least one Canadian and at least one South American host (or mostly Canadians and South Americans ). The host sending from NA to SA or vice-versa would have to be willing to take on a greater expense than those within each continent, the toys should probably be lightweight and the mentors understand the risks. But uniting the Americas really appeals to me more than just a U.S.A. trail.
Any thoughts?

With her friends, found a way to fly in Finland where I hope she will stay forever. It turns out she's more Finn than American. just lit up watching a beautiful Danish sunset. Timothy III and were treasure hunters in Bolivia. Henrik met on the shelf of a Wisconsin shop.

I like that idea, making it a general America's tour. There seem to be a lot of people from the states here right now, but a lot of us seem pretty new. But putting everyone together might work for making an epic trail!

I would love to see such a Trail here.
Up to now, there were not many people from the USA who loved to join my worldwide Trail.
And two of them who joined stopped hosting after a short time.
So good luck.
