Do you have any old bears stashed away that could be put to better use? Please look at my Travelog and read all about it!

Thank you.

Much Teddy love,
Threadbear

Please continue hunting for old or unloved bears to send to Threadbear - even sending just one bear will mean that one South African Teddy Bear Clinic child has something warm and cuddly to hold and care for .. :)

Besides, it keeps MrsC busy ... ;)

Hi! Thanks Michele, I'll let Threadbear know when he wakes up.
Poor bear is struggling to get up on these cold winter morning because he should be hibernating instead of working his little paws off... ;)

Dearest Threadbear,

I have finally washed and dried all the extra bears and they'll be in the post tomorrow - in two boxes.

The decorator asked why three bears were in the window standing on their heads . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . drying their bottoms of course, doesn't he know anything!!

I hope you like them, the little chap in the dungerees nearly didn't make it, he's so cute! He almost stayed.

Much love

Steve & Helly xxx

Ah! Rotiserie bears, I know them well!

Thank you Steve and Helly, I will pass the message on to Threadbear when he wakes up. It has been very quiet this week, so I have let him catch up on his sleep..poor old bear.

Ninni should have stowed away for a holiday in Jo'burg!

I'll let Threadbear know to keep an eye open for your parcel. He is downstairs with Eloise. Those two...

Are those MOOMINS on the box? I have a million postcards and have never had a Moomin in my post box! Hope the silly people don't damage it at the post office (won't hold my breath!)

Have my bears gotten lost on the way?  :( Everything else that I mailed the same day has arrived by now, even beck the lion who went home to Taiwan. How many bears do you have by now? (roughly) I saw some cheerfully colored really reduced price ones outside the store in a huge basket... poor things!

my tvs: Emil is doing a foreign exchange to Japan/USA. Roderich is hiking in Canada. Vinícius has traveled to South Africa. Greta is stranded in Puerto Rico. Nami Geneveva seems to have been lost in the mail. Bob Beeker is still in Mexico. Kunigunde is having fun in the US. Kaspian was lost in the mail for the second time.

Well, after a bit of research, it seems you posted them on the 30th of June... it takes at LEAST 3 weeks for parcels to reach our sunny shores (a postcard from Germany usually takes 3 DAYS!), so give it a few more days before you panic!

I have no idea how many bears there are, going to count again next week when I get more boxes. But I'd say close to 400 (I'm being VERY optimistic!) :p

Well, now I'll only know again in 3 weeks anyway. I sent them by letter (a fat one but not that big) because it was cheaper and the lady at the postoffice said that it was faster and less likely to get lost.

Hey Mrc C

I have quite a few bears that I have rescued from various charity shops. I will give them all a bath and send them on to you. Can you PM me with your details?
